I purchased this gear for my Armma Infraction for the purpose of doing speed runs. The gear holds up well, just make sure your gear mesh is set-up right. On a 3s lipo battery I'd say I gained 15mph using this gear over the stock gear.

These are cheap enough to buy a couple at a time just to keep as spares or until your fed up with them stripping and try a metal one :)

Ok, First off, I normally run steel gears for durability but they can be noisy lol. I decided to grab one of each 57, 55 and 50T "composite" gears since the stock gear in my vorteks has held up with no problems on my previous 4S build. Decided I wanted to make it 6S, so threw a 8BL150 with 4274 2000kv motor in it running 2X 6000mah 120C 3S in series and ended up on 21/50 gears. This gear is holding up like a champ and my slipper is as tight as possible lol. I like to do 20mph rolling wheelies in the street, sending massive rooster trails in the sand and a lot of high speed runs lol. I would say, if the noise of full metal gears bother you, then these are a good option. I haven't broken mine yet and keeping a few extra on hand when/if it does break is cheap... you can also get a variety of gears to test for the price of a good steel gear, so there's that too.
