Great looking pizza wheel - I love the colours, and the textured shell design adds grip whilst making it a bit chunkier and easy to hold.The wheel has a built in safety cover. Sadly, I found this difficult to slide back and forth as it catches on the handle part.I ordered my usual Friday night takeaway and asked them not to slice the pizza so that I could test this wheel! It worked really well in terms of slicing - the blade is very sharp. It cut through the toppings with ease, rather than dragging pieces of pepperoni across the pizza.The wheel opens for cleaning. This is a fiddly process and one that puts me off using the wheel to be honest. I wanted to like this style of pizza wheel, but I think I’m happier with a regular open style wheel on a long handle that I can just throw in the dishwasher. Sadly, this one is not for me.

I always have trouble cleaning a pizza cutter. This one opens up like a clam shell at the top. So, as long as you can avoid losing the parts and can make sure you resist the urge to throw the disassembled blade like a ninja star, you are going to like this. It is also super easy to cut as the grip at the top means you are pressing with your whole hand and arm and not your wrist. It also feels a lot safer to me, so long as you keep fingers away from the blade. The blade itself is of decently thick and sharp steel and will not bend or roll even if using on a metal tray or sheet.
