Wir haben diese Kopfhörer gekauft damit unser Kind im Wohn- und Essbereich auch mal TV schauen kann wenn Erwachsene am Tisch sitzen. Die Verbindung mit dem optischen Signalkabel hat sehr gut funktioniert. Guter Klang, passt bestens.

the last pair broke at the hinge in the earpiece very sad and less than 8 months old so I just bought another headset

My wife and I are in our seventies and although our hearing is still pretty good, voices on the low end, like men's voices, was getting harder and harder to clearly hear when coming from the TV...in spite of the fact that we have added an expensive sound bar. Someone suggested I try Avantree headphones. What an amazing difference these make! You are guaranteed to hear every word as clear and crisp as if the speaker were standing right next to you. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with these devices.

Actually, I did not need the second set of headphones with my TV set because another person can listen to the TV through the TV's speakers. There was a note in the description indicating that some TVs do not enable both headset and speaker listening at the same time.
