Load up your weapon to help train loading, unloading, and cyclying a weapon. Soft aluminum dummy rounds are a double edged weapon. Soft not to wear your weapon, but soft to where they will eventually wear out, especially at the rim where the extractor claws at it.

The aluminum is too soft for proper use to test the action in an AR-10, and probably most other rifles. My rifle took several chunks out of the first three rather than extract them from the chamber, and I had to extract them manually.

With these dummy ammo, you can check your new rifle with its magazine that it feeds properly to the chamber than using a live bullet. Mine is a bolt-action, I did find my rifle that it feeds nicely before going to the range for its break-in…same thing i did with my 22LR rifle…it’s worth the buy!
