Just before lockdown I was diagnosed as diabetic type 2 and made a few life style changes to reverse it. One of the things I did was to equip a home gym. Amongst the equipment I bought was a weights machine and an airbike.Being male I soon discovered that I had a couple of problems. One was a small hernia that could be bothersome when lifting weights and the other was a very malevolent saddle on the airbike. I tried a surgical truss, which I found unwieldy and which didn't help with the saddle issue, and then a friend suggested these compressive shorts. They were a much better solution.I particularly like these high waisted shorts because I can roll the top down to give my hernia better support. I also like the long legs as it means I can keep my sensitive bits under control and prevent them being brutalised by the saddle. Another plus point is the lack of irritating seams which could cause chaffing and soreness.Size wise I went a couple of sizes down to maximise the supportive qualities and, although I am a 32" waist, I opted for the L, which is listed as being a 27" waist. I got the fit I wanted, with good compression, without feeling like I have a boa constrictor wrapped around me. Value wise, at £7.99, I think these pants represent a good deal for a well made and functional garment that is comfortable to wear and brings a lot of relief along to the party.

Promete al ponértela, notas de inmediato un control visible del abdomen y la cintura queda bien perfilada. El tejido sin costuras y el diseño de cintura alta la hacen prácticamente invisible bajo la ropa, ideal para vestidos ajustados o pantalones de talle alto.El material es suave y elástico, ofrece buena transpirabilidad y se adapta al cuerpo sin marcar demasiado, lo que se agradece en uso diario. Además, el acabado tipo short evita que se enrolle en los muslos y aporta un ligero efecto push-up en glúteos.Aspectos a mejorar:Al ser tan ajustada, puede resultar incómoda tras varias horas seguidas; recomiendo probar una talla superior si dudas entre dos opciones.En algunos movimientos, la parte baja de las piernas tiende a “doblarse” o crear pequeñas arrugas.No tiene refuerzo extra en la zona lumbar, por lo que, si buscas sostén más firme en la espalda, quizá necesites combinarla con otro tipo de faja.
