The skate is relatively wide, which is good, but it is made of hard plastic, like a Lego. There is absolutely no stretch or flexibility in this skate, and it is not going to be molded to the foot at all. Not suitable for casual skaters with bunions. For them, it's better to just get a standard hockey skate and have a shop cut and shape it to relieve pressure on the bunion. On the plus side, this skate works pretty well as a cheap occasional skate for wide-footed kids.
