Merkmale: RhizoLoc ist eine Stabilorthese. Hohe Stabilität durch individuell anformbaren Aluminiumbügel. Einstellmöglichkeit der Bewegungslimitierungen im Daumengrundgelenk mittels Daumenklettlasche. Erhalt der Bewegungsfreiheit im Handgelenk durch schmalen Gurt und kleinen Umlenkring. Einfach zu öffnende Klettverschlüsse erleichtern das An und Ablegen der Stabilorthese mit einer Hand. Wirkweise: Stabilisierung des Daumensattel und Daumengrundgelenks. Limitierbare Freigabe der Bewegung im Daumengrundgelenk (Dynamisierung).

Stützt gut und trägt nicht so doll auf. Behindert aber auch nicht so extrem den Rest der Hand . Kann man gut mit arbeiten .

Tengo otro para la mano izquierda. Es muy eficaz y cómodo para ser un inmovilizador. Es caro pero otros que he comprado más baratos no sirven para nada y además hacen daño. Hay que comprar de izquierda o derecha según se necesite y la talla adecuada.

Being of a certain age (ahem, shout out to all my GenXers), and having ignored all advice to slow my roll in my younger years, I have a drawer primarily dedicated to ankle, foot, wrist, and thumb related braces, KT tapes, etc. I have found Bauerfeind products to be consistently far superior to other OTC gear. They are usually 3X or more the prices of the more widely available retail brands, but they have not disappointed, and I have yet to retire or throw one out.Thoughts on this item:-I like the minimal construction of this brace, not covering most of my hand when all I need is some thumb support.-There is a rigid, molded internal support which provides legit immobilization over basic neoprene or other fabric braces.-I felt dumb, but I really didn't get the middle tab (aka Mystery Flap) function at first. Took my engineer husband to point out that pulling it taut would further limit CMC movement by increasing the angle the thumb stands out from the hand. Depending on how much mobility or lack thereof one is looking for, this may be meaningful.-The top strap hits right at/slightly above the first knuckle on me (female, smallish to average sized hands, Size 1), and is designed to wrap around the thumb pad, then secure vertically downward onto the blue fabric body of the brace. It works, but A) the strap height is quite tall, and the edges chafe around the creases on the underside of the thumb, so it's a bit uncomfortable. This can be mitigated by using the Mystery Flap to increase the angle, sliding the thumb into a more comfortable position relative to the strap. B) not having a dedicated receiving velcro pad is going to age the (expensive) blue material quickly, I imagine.-The lack of a middle strap, combined with the rigid stay does mean a bit of gapping between the thumb and the brace as the hand moves, but I think it's an okay trade off for not having a bunch of unnecessary material across the rest of the hand.-The blue is a fun color, I would choose it over black or (ugh!) the ubiquitous "Chronic Injury Beige", but I could see how something more low-key would be desired for the more aesthetically conservative but similarly broken folks out there.Not the most well designed Bauerfeind product I've had, but still much better than the majority of products in this space. IMO, worth it!

Nach viermonatigem Dauertragen nachts ist das Daumengelenk wieder schmerzfrei. Jahrzehntelanges Spielen auf Keyboard und Synthesizer plus Altersverschleiss hatten mein Daumen Gelenk nahezu bewegungsunfähig gemacht, ergo versteift mit einhergehenden heftigen Schmerzen im Gelenkknorpel. Das ist Dank dieser Bauerfeind Orthese nun endlich vorbei. Der Daumen lässt sich wieder bewegen und biegen.

Meine Mutter hat diese Orthese bereits seit längerem in Verwendung und ich habe ihr jetzt eine zweite besorgt, damit die zwischendurch mal gesäubert werden kann. Sie hat Arthrose im Daumen, die Orthese verhindert Überlastung.

Era proprio quello di cui avevo bisogno. Corrisponde in taglia e in tutto il resto. Ottimo oggetto per la salute. Arrivato con anticipo ma in condizioni pessime consegnato da GLS; compreso di scontrino fiscale e fattura.

Ich habe diese Orthese 12 Wochen am Stück getragen. Sie hat mir sehr geholfen.Aufgrund einer akkuten Ringbandentzündung am rechten Daumen habe ich diese Orthese gekauft.Bei der Arbeit hat mich diese gut unterstützt und mir einen Großteil der Schmerzen genommen.Die Orthese sieht auch noch nach langem tragen ordentlich aus und löst sich nicht in seine Bestandteile auf - klar sieht man dass sie getragen wird.Ich arbeite tagsüber im Büro und abends in der Gastronomie (Service und Theke) - die Orthese war also stark beansprucht. Sie lässt sich gut mit warmem Wasser und etwas Duschgel oder Waschmittel auswaschen und trocknet auch relativ schnell, sodaß sie auch bald wieder zum Einsatz gelangt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde diese Orthese jederzeit wieder kaufen.
