I was unimpressed by this product. The expectation of quality due to the high price point and company’s reputation was not met. The blade was the most impressive piece of the knife. As for the scales/grip that compose the body of the knife it was designed with a cheap feeling material. It was a plastic material that does not reflect a 200 dollar knife. Action of opening and blade were top selling points but I have found better knives made by reputable brands that cost a third of the price. If you are simply looking for a quality blade this knife is for you. I did end up returning this knife and will be going to another brand for my future one.

Perfect every day carry knife. Very light and thin, hardly notice it clipped in my pocket. Despite the name I wouldn’t recommend this as a survival knife, as these is some flex in the handle and the grip is just ok. For just normal use it’s perfect.

Love this knife as well as my other Benchmade’s. Quality high and great everyday carry knife.

I have several Benchmade knives and wanted to add this one to my list due to the interesting color. As with my other Bugouts, you need to make an adjustment(loosen) some of the studs to allow the lock to function properly abs the blade to open freely. For me I have done this with other Bugouts and it’s not a big deal. Still and excellent knife and would buy again.
