This BGTEC Diamond grinding wheel is awesome, as soon as you take it out of the box you can tell that it's going to make light work of knocking super hard cement from slabs or brickwork which is what we have lined up for it. There's that old saying that goes "There's no such thing as a free lunch" and that's best way to describe the dozen cement spattered paving slabs that we aquired for "free" that need cleaning up before we can use them.If you look at our fourth review picture it looks as though the grinding wheel has been dynamically balanced by milling a small amount of metal out in one spot ensuring a smooth and vibration free operation. I am really impressed if that's what it is, either way this wheel is a quality piece of kit!If this weekend stays dry me and the BGTEC wheel will be put into action cleaning the twelve "not so free" slabs ready to lay, I have a feeling that I may not come out the other side in as good shape as the wheel but let's see!Five out of five really impressed stars for this BGTEC beast of a grinding wheel.

A substantial grinding wheel, finished well and tidily packaged. Much stronger than you might expect. Fits easily to grinder without issue. Ground sintered metal pads contain a decent level of bonded abrasive diamond, so I expect the wheel to wear well, and on this basis it looks like excellent value for money.

As this is a non-brand name grinding cup, I am very impressed. As with all non0brand name options like this, I had concerns about the quality of materials used, but I've found this to be a good deal considering the price.I have a very old garage, built back in the mid-'50s, and over time, the concrete floor has cracked and heaved. One area was/is particularly bad, with one side of the crack sticking up over 2cms. I've used other grinding cups to level off some of the cracks, but until I moved some stuff around, I wasn't able to get at all of the issues. I've since had the opportunity to use this wheel and remove enough concrete on the remaining cracks to allow for a counter to sit level without shimming.I have small 4-inch Bosch and Makita grinders, and the wheel fits both nicely. The Makita is easier to use at times as its variable speed, whereas the Bosch is fixed at 10k RPM. Even with the Bosch, I find the wheel easy to use and allow for creating some smooth areas. The other thing that impressed me is that while the cup got very warm, it never got hot. I've done stonework in the past and had grinding cups almost melt due to the heat they created.► There are venting holes on both cups that allow dust which would collect on the underside to be expelled.► When looking at the cups after some work, there are still a whole lot of diamond chips showing on each section.I'll order at least one more of these as I have more work to be done on the patio area and house foundation. At this price, as I write the review, it's $42.29, which is higher than other options I've used, but with more diamond grit, it's worth it.
