I have a pool table in a rental house that gets abused pretty regularly. I replaced the standard tips on all my pool ques with these screw on tips and it makes repairs so fast and easy. If you're a casual pool player looking for easy repairs this is the way to go. If you're competitive then it's probably not. The leather tip will still wear off but you can just unscrew the black plastic top from the white plastic base and put a new one on in a couple seconds, it's great.

I wanted to be able to quick change tip with these screw on tips. Mine cue was fixed/ glued on so it was a little tough getting the old one off but it works ok for my pool cue.

Do not waste your money, 90% of the ferrules were drilled off-center. Making the tip come out crooked.?

all of them will work no issues the ferrule is plastic but a brass insert taking off the ferrule i just used a lighter to heat it up a little and took a pair on plyers and yanked it striate off install new one by tapping in on with a hammer pretty easy works great now i have screw on tips and no more trying to glue on the tips
