The ring seals work fine but the filter is no as porous as the old one. We get less concentrated coffee in the cup when it's done its thing.And through trial and error, we found that our one-cup Bialettii takes a 3-cup sized ring seal.On the other hand with this 2X purchase for the price of one, we get 6 ring seals. Enough to last a lifetime.
