Just as good, if not better, than a waiter's corkscrew. Despite the at-first-seeming flimsy heft, its actually quite durable. I've had mine for a while now, and used it, oh, about once every two days (Yes, I like my wine), I haven't noticed any problems at all. These are also excellent if you want to take them overseas, as they can go through TSA because of the lack of "knife." I'd love to buy a new one, in a different color, but, well, these just refuses to break! Oh well. Maybe in a few more years...

This is the best wine opener. My “wine expert friends” use this one and suggested it.It doesn’t break the cork, and it works perfectly!The only complaint is the color was not bright pink as in picture, it was a dull maroon color.

3 bc it’s the only travel safe bottle opener I’ve found with different colors. Don’t love the quality though, handle is plastic and you can see all the seams
