Great looking item but has anyone figured out how to get the small lock ring behind the smaller ball (in yellow)so it locks onto my whatever I have to use....explain this to me please. If they came apart that would be great, believe me they donot!

Habe die Adapter bestellt um Ram Mount und Handy Halter an meinen Ram Mount zu montieren.Funktioniert ohne Probleme.

Since RAM doesn't make a 17mm mount that would work in my situation, I bought these. They work great for my application, and I will be buying more of them.

Fast shipping and received in good order.. kind of. It's advertised as a two pack and there was only one in the box. I tried to reach out to the seller but it's an Amazon fulfilled order which meant I would have to return it and reorder. It would cost me more in time and gas for what that's worth so I'm using the one. I use ram mounts in my vehicles for phone holders and some of the magnet holders have the 17mm balls so I need the reducer from the standard 1". These do that and have a strong hold. It's just too bad I only received the one in a two pack.
