Für Teleobjektive mit 85 mm (bis ca. 1:2,1) und 100 mm (bis ca. 1:1,9) ist es die maximale Stärke, bei der aber auf mindestens Blende 8 abgeblendet werden sollte. Für 35 mm Brennweite gleich zur B+W Nahlinse +5 übergehen.

Ich habe die Nahlinse getestet und an einem identischen Motiv mit dem Canon Makroobjektiv EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM verglichen.Testkamera Canon R6, Objektiv mit der montierten Nahlinse: Canon RF 24-105 mm F4-7,1 IS STM im Vergleich mit Canon Makroobjektiv EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM OHNE Nahlinse!Fazit: Das 100er Canon Original-Makroobjektiv „kann näher ran“ aber die Nahlinse auf dem Billigobjektiv macht eine sehr gute Figur! Die Schärfe und der Vergrösserungsfaktor sind für den Preis voll ok und im Vergleich zum 1.200 Euro teuren Canon-Makroobjektiv (mit natürlich noch besserer Abbildungsleistung!) ist die Nahlinse zum gelegentlichen Gebrauch eine echte Alternative.Joachim Wasserthal, Berufsfotograf/Werbefotografie

Many ignore the importance of NL filters. That is because quality in general is poor for many chineese products, and also because they are afraid to spend money on good quality filters. B+W is german manufactured!I have NL1, NL2, NL3 and NL4, from B+W and I am pleased about the performance of these filters. In principle you can use them in two main situations: first when you don't want to disturb a subject in macro, let's say a butterfly, but you want to take a sharp with a nice bokeh shot, and second, when you want to zoom-in more on a subject and you are already on the maximum limit of your zoom range. Even at NL4 there are no significant aberations. Most important aspect, you can combine them to obtain higher power: NL1+NL2+NL3+NL4 for example. NL1 is a terminal filter so it doesn't have an interior outside thread. The others have interior and exterior threads. The family is F-PRO and not XS-PRO because the glass is thick and there is no room for front thread if it is used a XS-PRO ring mount, so you will not have the posibility to combine then. That is why they are twice ss heavy as a normal ND XS-PRO filter: more brass, also more glass.Bottom line: invest in this, you will not regret a bit, B+W is the best option that you have in this moment. The price reflects 100% the quality of B+W.

Aunque tengo un objetivo macro me encontré con este filtro a un precio excepcional (reacondicionado) y lo compré para experimentar. Muy sorprendido con la excelente calidad que ofrece, me permite utilizarlo en un zoom Olympus 12-40 que, con este filtro, se hace mucho más polivalente. Eso sí, a su precio normal, muy caro, no sé si me lo compraría.

I'm using this +2 filter/lens on a Canon 24-105mm L lens (77mm diameter) and think it's a great alternative to carrying an extra lens or second camera for closeups when I think I may be wanting to also take scenics. I'm glad I put out a little more money on this single filter rather than buying a cheap set of closeup filters. With this filter, be aware that you do have to get very close to your subject for it to be in focus (for my lens at 105mm, about 12" from the focal plane mark on the camera), so I don't think butterflies and other critters will generally tolerate such an invasion of their space. Still, this is a very nice piece of glass with a good weight to it--definitely well built. You also have a fairly narrow area that will be in focus, and the farthest distance won't be but a very few feet, down to a few inches. Used on my lens, I didn't need more magnification than +2--more isn't always better. How I decided on the +2 was that strength was shown in my camera lens booklet under Accessories.Also be advised that a regular "clip-in" lens cap will not fit over this convex shaped filter/lens. I believe there are other alternatives though.

J'ai acheté cette bonette pour faire de la macro occasionnelle. J'ai évité les lentilles à 10€ en espérant une qualité correcte, mais le résultat me déçoit beaucoup:-On perd beaucoup en piqué et en contraste. Mais alors vraiment beaucoup. Et pourtant ce n'est qu'une +3…-Les photos présentent une énorme aberration chromatique, même au centre.-Pour finir, dû à la forme de la lentille, on ne peut pas mettre de bouchon par dessus, obligé de la dévisser.Vu la qualité des photos, et même en essayant une multitude de réglages, c'est tout juste bon à finir sur instagram, mais en aucun cas à afficher en plein écran et encore moins à imprimer.

habe mir die Makrolinse für mein 100mm Makroobjektiv geholt um noch näher ran zu kommen.Gesagt getan :-) aus einem Abbildungsmaßstab von 1:1 wurden gute 2:1.Klar muss man etwas mehr abblenden ich bin auf Blende 5.6 gegangen.Wer diese Kombination in Anspruch nehmen möchte, dem sei gesagt: viel Licht, ruhige Hand - besser Stativ.Ich werde diese Kombi für Moose und kleinste Pilze nutzen.Hier mal 2 Bilder: 100mm Makro und 100mm Makro mit +4 NLQualitativ braucht man nicht meckern, keine chromatischen Aberrationen.Ich bin aber von diesem Produkt begeistert und kann es jedem Empfehlen.

The lens is not an achromatic one. Honestly, in the description it says nothing about whether it is or not. I guess from the price I should have suspected it. Nevertheless, I bought it to use it with my Tamron 70-300 VR (at 300 mm should get a magnification around 1:1 with a +2 close-up lens). The results at f/5.6 were very poor, basically umbearable. A bit better at f/8 but it was still better to crop the images without the close up lens (1:4).Maybe for people with cameras with very low pixel densities (e.g., a 10mp D80) this close-up lens would be better than cropping a factor 4, but with the new 24mp APS-C cameras (or 36mp FF) it is better to just crop than to use this item.Will try to get one of the Marumi DHG achromats at some stage.

... zu einem makro-objektiv.leider kam ich noch nicht viel dazu, die nahlinse zu testen - aber ich werde ggf. eine ergänzung zu dieser rezension schreiben.

Ich benutze die Nahlinse an meinem neuen Nikkor 1.8/50 mm G Objektiv. Da ich keine 'planen' Vorlagen damit fotografieren möchte, sondern z.B. Pflanzen oder ähnliches, stören mich mögliche Randunschärfen weniger. Blendet man genügend ab (z.B. auf Blende 8 - um auch ausreichend Schärfentiefe zu erhalten) ist die optische Qualität sehr gut! Um eine Vorstellung über die Vergrösserung, die man mit der Nahlinse erzielen kann, zu haben, vielleicht ein Beispiel: mit einem 50 mm Objektiv an einer DX Kamera (Crop-Faktor 1,5) kann man man das Ziffernblatt einer Herrenarmbanduhr (Durchmesser ca. 39 mm) formatfüllend abfotografieren.

Heute habe ich diese Nahlinse bekommen und gleich ausprobiert. Die Nahlinse verwende ich an den E-Objektiven Sony 18-55mm und der Festbrennweite 50mm f1.8 an meiner Sony NEX-5N. In der Regel fokussiere ich manuell. Das funktioniert durch die Kantenanhebung (Peaking) ausgezeichnet und macht richtig Spaß.Die Nahlinse ersetzt natürlich kein spezielles Makro-Objektiv, sondern ermöglicht sehr preiswert Nahaufnahmen in kürzerer Distanz als bei den jeweiligen Mindest-Fokussierabständen (unterschiedlich je nach Objektiv). Die bisherigen relativ wenigen Aufnahmen gefallen mir sehr gut. Die Abbildung ist größer und mindestens genau so scharf, vielleicht sogar schärfer als ohne Nahlinse.Die von mir eingestellten Bilder zeigen deutlich den Unterschied. Mit der Nahlinse an dem Objektiv mit 50mm Brennweite sind Details gut bis sehr gut zu erkennen, die ohne Nahlinse nicht zu sehen sind. Das Arbeiten mit der Nahlinse ist wirklich motivierend, weil das Ergebnis stimmt. Eine manuelle Fokussierung halte ich für ratsam, jedoch sind die Bilder mit Autofokus ähnlich gut.Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Die Nahlinse ist kein Leichtgewicht (Body aus Metall) und lässt sich problemlos durch das Gewinde anbringen und abschrauben. Eine Aufbewahrungsbox wird mitgeliefert.Ich bin kein Profi, sondern interessierter Amateur. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhälrnis bewerte ich mit sehr gut. Den Kauf dieser Nahlinse kann ich ohne Vorbehalt empfehlen.
