I bought this cable in February but didn't get a chance to test it until I received my Apple MackBook Max 1 in May 2022. I plugged the cable into my Mac and it worked for about a month, but in the meantime it has "broken" and the Mac won't recognize it the monitor when connected with this cable. I don't know if it's a manufacturing defect...

I connected it to my display and nothing shows up. The computer recognises that there is a second display but no image is displayed, and when going to display settings, properties such as resolution or orientation are blank and greyed out

The cable is perfect for what I needed it for. Connected it to my iPad Pro and a video projector for a birthday party. My iPad recognized the cable immediately and sent the video signal through the projector. Next day delivery directly from Amazon Prime delivery truck.
