Camelbak Antidote Insulated Tube with Flow MeterHad it delivered on Friday 26/06/2020 from AmazonBroke first ride 27/06/2020, rode 2 miles went to have a drink and it just came apart. Put bite valve to my mouth it separated below the meter and with the pressure of the water in the bladder, it spat the bits out and onto the floor with most of the water in the Camelbak bladder, luckily I managed to find the screw and the other bits, hopefully with a bit of glue, it can be stuck together properly. I had to shorten my ride because of this, not happyPsCamelbak don’t scrimp on the glue

Benutzt eine Batterie (2032) und der Kunsstoff ist sehr hart, die Genauigkeit hängt von der "Trinkgeschwindigkeit" ab. Nettes Gimmik aber man braucht es eigentlich nicht.

l'isolation du tube est appréciable contre la chaleur. je verrai cet hiver pour la résistance au froid. par contre je n'ai pas réussi à utiliser le débimètre. sur une poche de 2l, j'avais toujours un décalage de 1/2l.

A la fois conquis et déçu. Le principe est top pour savoir où l'on en est dans notre consommation. Malheureusement la.précision n'est pas là. Une petite turbine se met à tourner lors du passage du fluide, mais ne démarre pas si l'on aspire pas assez fort. Du coup 3l consommé alors qu'il annonçait 2 ... Lors d'une grosse sortie vtt, plus d'eau = pas cool. J'ai tout de même vérifié au dessus de l'evier et ça confirme. Dommage, je l'ai retourné sans soucis, amazon me l'a remboursé.

I'm doing a heart failure altitude study on Kilimanjaro & one of the things I have to measure is my hydration. Camelbak has made it easy with this Flow Meter. I especially like the insulated tube, it's the same tube we use for winter mountaineering & is essential.

I love my camelbak, but I don't like checking how much water is left. This seemed perfect.I tried it out at home and the flow meter seemed inaccurate; I drank 70 oz and it only counted 40 oz. I tried again a few days later, sucking as hard as I could, and it only registered 50 oz. But then I took it on an actual run, wearing the bag in its pack and drinking naturally, and I drank around 20 oz and it measured 18 oz. (I have a separate water bottle I know is 10 oz and used that to measure.)Maybe it only measures inaccurately if it's not set up properly (when I drank at home, I just laid the reservoir on my desk). Maybe it always measures low out of the box, and it needs to have a few liters sucked through it to loosen up. Either way, within 10% is close enough for me. I don't need it to be spot on.The only reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is that the tube is way too long. It's around eight inches longer than the usual camelbak tube, like it was designed to someone ten feet tall. Maybe this is better for biking or something, but I'm gonna need to cut it or shove a lot of it back into the pack so it's easier to run with.
