This is super light weight but does not stay tight. Probably good for hiking or walking but bounces when running. You have to continually tighten the vest to keep it from bouncing when running.

Exellent gilet de runnig et de trail, c'est pour cela que j'ai acheté ce 2 ème pour l'entrainement, le premier est réservé pour les courses longues distances.Je recommande ce produit qui est bien conçu.

The short of it:(+): What I liked about the vest is the personalized fit, airy mesh material throughout, overall weight, storage options, and bladder flasks.(-): What I didn't like about the vest is the back storage access and how the flasks and/or flask pockets are designed.Overall, I liked this vest for day hikes and long runs. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a training or adventure vest, but might look elsewhere if you're needing a hydration vest for a competitive ultra race. The explanation of the good the bad and the overall feel:I'm not a competitive ultra runner, but I have paced in a 100 mile race before. To me this hydration vest would be frustrating to use when the minutes count. Access to the back of the pack is from the top which makes it difficult/impossible to access anything on the back of the vest during a run or while the pack is on in general. I also found that the bladder flasks are not convenient once you've taken a few pulls. They tend to sink into the pocket the more you deplete the water in them causing you to dig for them. Their position on the vest is low, so pulling the flask out entirely is the best option outside of craning your neck and pulling up hard on the entire vest to drink. Removing and reinserting the flasks is not too difficult, but focus shouldn't be on the vest or seeking water, it should be on the trails and your surroundings. For these reasons I wouldn't recommend this vest for a competitive event when time is valuable. With that being said, the vest delivers on every other level. It has a minimalist design in terms of weight, which allows you to pack the weight where it really counts. There is plenty of storage for a long day hike including a dedicated sleeve with loop that can hold up to a 2L bladder. The divider in the large rear pocket gives room for additional storage including an internal zipper pocket to hold valuables that you won't likely need access to during your activity. On the outside you'll have a stretch mesh sleeve for items such as a jacket that you may need quicker access to. What I liked about the front pockets is that you have space to store your necessities including a small stretch mesh pocket for trash. The design keeps you from having to access the items on your back for the most part. The mesh layout worked great in terms of breathability and wicking away sweat. It also provided a good amount of stretch which I felt made the weight of the water seem less noticeable when running. As I worked on the consumables of the vest during activity it was easy to adjust the vest to keep it comfortable and snug. The biggest win are the bladder flasks. I liked the ability to lock the caps for transporting a full vest to the trail/course. I also like that you have to bite to release the water, so that you don't have to fumble with the locking mechanism during activity. The bite doesn't have to be hard to release water. There's also no concern with not getting every drop of water back out. The cap forms an air tight seal inside, so as you get closer to the bottom you're able to essentially vacuum out all of the water inside.I cannot speak to the longevity of the vest since I've only used it a handful of times during a 5-day window where I hiked several miles of the Santa Rita Mountains, South of Tucson, AZ, and the South Mountains in Phoenix, AZ. While a majority of the use was for hiking trails, I did put in some miles running the trails. There was some overgrowth on the trails including a half-mile stretch of thorny bushes, which the vest held up just fine against.

The price I paid $112 was high because I needed additional water bottles in the front. But wait, there is no back hydration pack! What ?! The photo shoes there is one!
