this unit was the perfect 4th axis addition need for the Oslo pocket. Suction cup is strong and secure.

Well-made and highly effective, this stabilizer arm suction mount is perfectly for my use. While I don’t typically need to mount it on the side, the impressive stability gave me the urge to try it out, and it held up great! Just make sure to clean the surface thoroughly before attaching the suction cup to prevent any chance of the setup coming loose.

I was excited to get this suction mount because I'm fascinated by the idea of capturing "rollers" like the ones demonstrated on the product's sales page. But to this point, I've been too scared to risk losing my Pocket 3 if it doesn't work as advertised.I realize my fear--and lack of actually using the product as advertised--doesn't make for the best review. But one of the things holding me back is that, on the videos Came-TV provided of the cars and trucks barreling down the highway, I couldn't find one image of the mount actually attached to the truck and driving at highway speeds.Granted, there IS one shot of the truck in one video with the mount and Pocket 3 attached, the truck is just starting to move. What I really want to see is, did they actually take it out on the highway without any kind of extra attachment connected?I ask because in my research of suction mounts like this on, everyone who talks about them or makes videos about them INSISTS you add some kind of safety harness before attempting to use them on the side (or even a windshield) of a vehicle. I even found horror stories about people watching their action camera bouncing down the road after the cup lost suction and the mount detached from the vehicle.Granted, they were not talking about the Came-TV mount we're discussing here. It's too new to have anything written about it. (At least I couldn't find anything on the internet.) And maybe this mount DOES offer superior suction that is totally reliable. But until I can find a alternative way to secure it to my vehicle that will keep it attached even if the suction fails, I'm just going to have to say that this mount works well on many surfaces in my home and even seemed to attach well to the INSIDE of my windshield. But I'm going to have to hold off until I find that solution--and ideal weather conditions--before offering a full assessment.Until then, I'll start by giving this mount a generous four star review--realizing it's not entirely Came-TV's fault that I'm so skittish about using its product as advertised.I'll update this review as I learn more...or if the company offers me more assurance and real world examples of its product's infallibility.P.S. I did find a video where the mount came with a kind of cage for around the Osmo Pocket 3. Mine didn't come with that "cage." Was it accidentally left out of my package (I see a space for it in the box.) Or has that idea been abandoned?
