Die verschließbare Katzenklappe erlaubt der Katze, selbst zwischen Drinnen und Draußen zu entscheiden. Die Lieferung umfasst eine Selbstverkleidung, die für Türen oder Wände bis zu einer Stärke von 1,3 cm passt, der Tunnel ist nicht verstellbar. Die durchsichtige Sicherheitsscheibe ist robust und verschließbar. Trotzdem läßt sich die wetterfeste und geräuscharme Klappe leicht bewegen. Der Ausschnitt in Tür oder Wand beträgt nur 19,2 x 20 cm. Das lästige Öffnen und Schließen der Haus- oder Balkontür hat damit ein Ende.

Die Katzen sind leider innerhalb von Tagen in der Lage, den Verschlussmechanismus zu knacken.

Man sollte das dazugehörige Inlay für innen kaufen.Sonst sieht es doof aus.😅War aber einfach anzubringen.

We actually installed this in a window screen for a catio and not a door. A lot of the cat doors are thick/have a big gap for a thick door, but this one is thin enough it can work on a window screen.We left it propped open for the first week and half so the cats could get used it it, just because it has a small magnet it catches to at the bottom so it stays closed properly, which gives a bit resistance when pushing open. But they got used to it and the cats can open the door on their own fine now! Love it, it's not heavy and doesn't damage the window screen we installed it in at all.

Ahora mis gatos pueden salir a su Catio con comodidad y a la hora que quieran. Antes solo cuando la puerta estuviera abierta podían salir.

Unsere katzen benutzen die Klappe problemlos. Auch der Geräuschpegel ist absolut in Ordnung. Tausend mal besser, als wenn die katzen nachts die tür aufbrechen :D Größe ist auch für unseren Waldkatzenmix Kater absolut ausreichend, die beiden anderen katzis sind was kleiner und haben da sowieso keine probleme. Also absolut zu empfehlen auch für größere rassen.

Das Produkt ist soweit OK. Aber ohne Zubehör, wie Schrauben und Abstandshalter zu montieren ist nicht ganz optimal. Das können andere Hersteller wesentlich besser!

Super Produkt. Ich habe drei klappen im Haus und diese ist die Leiste und beste. Allerdings etwas klein. Meine Norweger quetschen sich gerade soeben durch.

Smart engineering and quality manufacture made this cat door a pleasure to install and use. I put it in the lower panel (1/8" aluminum) of my storm door. It seals against drafts pretty well, and I can't see any obvious points of wear or stress that would lead to future problems. Following the simple directions led to a good outcome. The only minor niggle was sticky movement of the sliding latch, but a couple of minutes with a scalpel, excising some untrimmed molding flash, got it moving smoothly. Some installation tips:1. When placing the template on your door, use a bubble level across the top of the template.2. Use a jig saw with the appropriate blade (fine-toothed metal-cutting blade in my case).3. Cut/file the opening so that the door frame slips in with zero force, so as not to distort the frame and bind the door.4. When marking the screw hole locations, use a bubble level (again) across the top of the inner frame.5. Drill the screw holes in the door a little smaller than suggested, 9/64" rather than 3/16"; this snugger fit will ensure that the door remains plumb as you install the screws, assuming that you levelled it as above.6. Vacuum meticulously afterward: the last thing you want in your feet (or your cat's paws) is sharp metal swarf.Being used to the unmodified screen door for 2+ years, my cat was wary (spooked, actually). After I taped the flap fully open, she gingerly approached and peeked outside. After 15 minutes of lurking, she took her first tentative steps through the door. After going in and out through the propped door many times over the next hour, she still would not nudge the fully closed flap, but when I lifted it halfway, she pushed her head under it and the body followed. Not bad for a couple of hours' work!
