Ihr Warenkorb ist leerEin Stativ muss stabil, leicht und einfach zu bedienen sein, wobei möglichst wenige Knöpfe und Hebel zu bedienen sind. Und genau nach diesem Prinzip wurde das Celestron TrailSeeker entwickelt. Mit einem Gewicht von nur 1,78 kg ist es leicht und handlich, kann aber bis zu 4 kg Ausrüstung tragen. Mit den voll einstellbaren Aluminium-Beinen des TrailSeeker-Stativs können Länge und Winkel geändert werden. Bei voll ausgefahrenem Mittelstab wird eine maximale Höhe von 1,79 m erreicht (Zentrum Mittelstab von 1,47 m). Jedes Bein besteht aus vier Abschnitten, die mit der einfachen Hebelsperre verkürzt und verlängert werden. Auf diese Weise kann das das Stativ je nach Untergrund oder Bedarf ein bisschen höher oder niedriger eingestellt werden. Außerdem lässt sich jedes Bein auf drei verschiedene Winkel einstellen. Wenn Sie das Stativ auf unebenem Boden aufstellen müssen, macht der Winkel von einem oder mehreren Beinen einen großen Unterschied. Der Mittelstab des TrailSeeker-Stativs kann aber mehr als nur nach oben oder unten zu fahren. Unten an dem Stab befindet sich ein einziehbarer Ausgleichshaken. Hängen Sie einfach nur etwas schweres wie einen Rucksack an den Haken, um ihm beim windigen Wetter zusätzliche Stabilität zu verleihen. Wenn der Haken nicht gebraucht wird, kann er wieder in der Mittelsäule verstaut werden, ohne zu stören.

This is a great tripod. It's solid and stable and pretty light. Used it with my camera but should do very well with high powered binoculars as well. I would highly recommend it

Just under a year since purchase, the legs suddenly jammed after a night out in the desert. I was never really able to get them moving freely again, no matter how much I cleaned/reassembled it. It's a shame, since it was otherwise a pretty great tripod with a nice fluid pan head and it held my Celestron SkyMaster 8x56 binoculars steady and stable.

I have been lugging around an old (heavy) tripod for a few years now, envying many other twitchers with their expensive equipment. As the body is not getting any younger I decided to splash out on a new lightweight tripod. Having, taken some advice for some experts at a wildlife trust centre we frequent, I got the chance to see, feel and hold a Celestron trail seeker and was amazed with how sturdy and light it was. After checking around I found that the best deal for me was with Amazon and within a few days my tripod arrived. It was easy to set up and even with my spotting scope attached it felt far more comfortable and lightweight than before. I already had a carrying harness and my new tripod fitted it perfectly. It’s so comfortable to carry around now. I have used it both outdoors and inside various different bird hides and it was so easy to set up and use. It’s a stable platform enabling easy clear spotting. I also found it a good base for a webcam that I use for social on-line get togethers with friends who are still home-bound due to health, care and children issues. Top notch I thoroughly recommend this reasonably priced scope.

This is a robust tripod but not that robust. The best thing of this tripod is it’s not very heavy and it holds weight. The tripod also has fluid/bubble balance and a hook to hang some extra weight to make it more stable. There’s a compass too. But it’s so small it’s not of much use. The main problem is the tripod is not optically very stable with total weight close to 2 kg. One has to constantly keep an eye on Live view for FoV while manually focusing the camera while digiscoping even after tightening all screws and knobs.With this additional efforts I am satisfied with the Celestron tripod in its price range. I would give 80 for value for money score.
