Just so you know, I review products for Amazon, so I did not pay for this item. Having received it, here's what I thought:I'm away from my boat at the moment (Jan/Feb), I plan to use this for quickly plugging in the solar charger (for storage) and perhaps an emergency jump start without digging around to find the battery (need to test that, it's 50a but a similar gauge to the jump pack) once fitted it'll be a very neat and quick solution.In preparing for this, I've checked out the device and taken some important measurements.you'll need to drill a 22mm hole.You'll want an operating space of 50mm behind the unit for the wires.The rubber gasket looks good, but I still suggest some additional sealant if expecting much water around it.The bolts and nuts provided are very short. You'd not be able to bolt this to more than 3mm of plate without buying replacement 3.5mm bolts.Stripping the wires they seem well made and the sheath was easy enough to cut, the connectors will allow space for a good interworking of two similar cables within the join.The unit appears to be well designed (o-ring in the join) and well made (plastics feel good).There is a very pleasant snap as you push the plugin and it secures itself.There are two ridges on the collar to uncouple easily.Happy to recommend it and looking forward to using it as the winter moves away.There is a straight version of this and one with a 90-degree bend. both seem very good.

This CERRXIAN trolling motor connector is well made. The 8 gauge wire has had no trouble with the current of my trolling motor. The connector is a waterproof aircraft style three pin.I love that the plug has a 90 degree bend so that the wire lays flat on deck rather than sticking straight up. Makes for a much cleaner and safer deck.The wires could be a little longer as they either need lengthening or a junction box to reach the trolling motor control on my setup.

This allowed me to get my golf cart setup to charge like my Tesla. With a little bit of easy DC wiring, I can now pull my golf cart into the garage and plug it right in. I snipped the alligator clamps off the battery charger and joined them to one half of this. I drilled a hole for the other half and wired it up to the battery in my golf cart.
