The design of this is inherently wrong. The blade on the scraper is angled and placed in a way that means you cannot use the brush without scraping the blade over your grates too. It most cases you don't want to use the blade, it's going to do more damage than good. Then the brush itself - it should be brass, that's the best material for cleaning - not too harsh - and that is what it says in the description. It's also in the photos. Instead it's a silver steel brush. This could be far too abrasive, and again - do more damage. So it's not even what they sold...Positives? The sponge seems fine. Make sure your bbq has cooled before you use it.
