Was die Hühnerklappe von den anderen unterscheidet, ist hauptsächlich die Art der Öffnung. Diese Fahrt nämlich nicht nach oben, oder zur Seite weg, sondern öffnet wie eine Tür.Gerade wenn der Einbauraum das Wegfahren nicht zulässt, ist das die perfekte Lösung!Zudem erkennt die Klappe ob Sie geschlossen und verriegelt ist.Es ist ein Solarpanel dabei das auch bei drüben Tagen genug Saft liefert.Die Fernbedienung funktioniert gut und das Menü ist simpel aufgebaut und einstellen lässt sich neben den Zeitsettings auch eine Öffnung über Sonnenaufgang/Sonnenuntergang oder in Kombination. Die Fernbedienung ist zudem ein nettes Gadget. Schade ist, dass es keine Anbindung zu Smart-Home-Systemen gibt. Ansonsten ist das Gerät aber perfekt umgesetzt!

The door opens outwards like a normal door, opening slightly more than 180 degrees, and slowly (giving enough time for the chucks to get out of the way).It is charging from the solar panel, even in the depth of winter.The door can be opened / closed by a timer, or a light sensor, or with the remote. I have it opening by light sensor in the morning, and timer after dark, as with my set up the light sensor closed the door while the chucks were still out (I think the shelter roof kills the light level).Recommended.

I recently got this automatic chicken coop door because, let’s face it, getting up at the crack of dawn to let the chickens out isn’t my idea of a relaxing morning. It’s safe to say this little gadget has been a complete lifesaver (and sleep-saver!).The solar-powered feature is brilliant—no need to worry about running cables or changing batteries constantly, and it charges even on cloudy days. The LCD display and timer are straightforward to set up, and I like that there’s also a light sensor option for those who prefer it to open and close based on daylight. The remote control is a nice bonus too, though I rarely use it now that the timer’s doing its job perfectly.One feature I really appreciate is the anti-pinch design. I had visions of my chickens getting squashed by the door, but it stops automatically if it senses something in the way. The door itself feels sturdy and well-made, and the aluminium gives me confidence that it’ll hold up in all kinds of weather.If I had to nitpick, the instructions could have been a bit clearer, as it took me longer than expected to get everything set up. But once it’s up and running, it’s an absolute dream. My chickens seem completely unbothered by it, and I no longer need to dash home at dusk to lock them up.For anyone with chickens who wants a bit more freedom (or just values a lie-in), this coop door is worth every penny. It’s reliable, well-built, and makes life so much easier. The chickens might not say thank you, but I certainly will!
