Good quality. When you cut it to size tape cable over tightly a couple of times with a thin electric tape in the place to cut. Do not use wire cutters or cutting pliers. Instead carefully cut with a cutting disc of the dremel tool or equivalent right through the tape and cable. Carefully unwound the tape just before you are ready to thread it through the sheath tube.

It's just a brake cable. What could be wrong with it? Well, the way these come from the factory, they have a great big hunk of metal that needs to be cut off at the end. So, you have to cut this off, before you can run the brake cable through. If you are trying to feed this newly cut cable through a road bike brifter (i.e. Shimano STi), it can become quite aggravating, as the cable edges can get caught. I much prefer brake cables that come ready to feed through from the factory -- picked one up at the local shop for $2, and worked like a charm.

I have'nt installed these at this time, I bought them as replacements when I need to do so, but they look like they will do the job just fine!
