works very well aswell as being very powerful but it came with loose darts and it was missing 5 of the mini broadhead darts.

Absolutely love this blow gun me and the kids take it out all the time and shoot small game with it or just target practice it is a very nice starter or for someone even that is well in the blow dart game highly recommend this product

Overall Fantastic design. It's lightweight and sturdy, I find myself being accurate up to about 70 feet. The size is wonderful, being able to break it down to fit in a closet, trunk of your car or a backpack, although it may poke out a bit.Functionally, It's useful for just having fun plinking cans, bottles, or taking small game. Would highly recommend having something like this, even if it's just in storage for an emergency.

Zu meiner Überraschung durchschlug der Pfeil gleich beide Seiten vom Karton, nun bestelle ich wohl gleich noch etwas neue Farbe für die Wand 🤣

Das Blasrohr ist mit wenigen Worten einfach nur super ,wenn nicht die pfeil Hülsen zu 80% zu klein wären darum muss ich leider einen Stern 🌟 abziehenAber im großen und ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden

The Cold Steel 5’ Two-Piece Blowgun is capable of pushing heavy 74-grain Razor Tip Broadhead darts at a maximum velocity of up to 135 fps, making it the most powerful commercially available blowgun in the world, along with the Tim Wells Slock Master .625 caliber blowgun. Both blowguns have an identical barrel and equal performance. However, I recommend the Slock Master over this blowgun for several reasons. First, I greatly prefer the broader, rounder mouthpiece on the Slock Master (see photo). It provides a wider surface for a good seal when blowing, and I find it more comfortable than the narrower Cold Steel mouthpiece. The Slock Master also includes a rubber barrel grip, which the Cold Steel blowgun does not. I really like a grip on my blowgun, not only for comfort but also to help me position my hand the same way every shot for consistency and best accuracy. Lastly, if you are planning to hunt with your blowgun the Slock Master includes 20 Razor Tip Broadhead darts which are the only ones I recommend for hunting, besides the Stun Dart. However, if price is a factor you can get a full package of Razor Tip Broadheads with the money you save going with this Cold Steel 5’ Two-Piece blowgun.This is a top quality product. While I normally don’t recommend two-piece models, the Cold Steel Two-Piece blowgun and Slock Master both have a very solid connector. While this is handy if you need to break your blowgun down for storage or transport, the connector is finely threaded and it takes a lot of twisting to unscrew it or screw it back in place.Darts are generally of good quality, but note that only the Stun Darts included with this blowgun are suitable for hunting, and then only for the very smallest of quarry. You also get Mini Broadheads which are great for target practice or plinking (but NOT for hunting due to the very small broadhead). The included Bamboo Darts are not very accurate due to warped shafts, but at least are lightweight and easy to blow. If you want to hunt, make sure you get the Razor Tip Broadheads which are by far the best available hunting darts. Note that the orange cones on all these darts are hard plastic, and if you hit another dart on your target board the cone will shatter. When target shooting I use multiple bulls-eyes to avoid “Robin-Hooding” my darts and destroying them.Note that these “Big Bore” blowguns require a fair amount of lung capacity to blow, so women and youth shooters should consider one of the shorter Cold Steel 4’ .625 blowguns instead (NOT the .357 Magnum Blowgun which is a much smaller caliber). However, for an average adult male the longer blowgun will shoot faster. Look for “Blowgun Hunting Ballistics” if you are interested in learning about .625 blowgun ballistics and how barrel length affects velocity, and about the ballistics of the individual darts.Pro Tip: If you can hear the dart hitting the connection inside the barrel, try rotating the mouthpiece 90 degrees and trying again. Do the same if accuracy or velocity seem to be affected by the dart hitting the edge inside the barrel.Pro Tip: Increase your velocity and consistency by saying "Tuh!" forcefully as you blow. You should feel it “deep in your gut” like a trumpet player would for forcefully blowing a trumpet. This pre-compresses the air in your mouth for one powerful, explosive burst of air and also helps you be consistent in velocity from shot to shot. It is simple and easy.

Da klappert nix, das Teil ist steif wie man es braucht. Kostet richtig Asche, aber wer ein "echtes" Blasrohr und kein Kirmeskrams sucht, sollte sich ein Cold Steel kaufen. In der Preisklasse gibt es nur auf dem deutschen Markt noch das Phantom, das ist aber nicht zerlegbar.Achtung, das ist kein Kinderspielzeug!!!! Bitte kauft es nicht für Jugendliche die den Unterschied zwischen einer Waffe und einem Spielzeug nicht realisieren.Als Sportgerät ist es einfach eine Hausnummer für sich.

Last year squirrels wrecked all of our fruit trees. Two peach trees, two apple trees, one plum, two pawpaws, all loaded with fruit, all completely stripped by squirrels. This year I am harboring a vendetta against these tree rats so besides setting conibear traps for them in the trees, I thought I'd use whatever other legal means I could to dispatch the pests. My pellet rifle isn't very accurate, so I thought I'd try this blowgun.First, this is the same as one that is being sold elsewhere for almost twice the price. Though the model number on the front, and in this listing, says B6255TZ, on the back of the package it is indicated as model B6255T, the same as other listings.I've only worked with this for about 1/2 hour or so, but that was enough for me to form a strong enough opinion to write a review.I did not expect to be as impressed with this as I was. Others complain about bad darts, but they all performed fine for me, including the few that had slightly misshapen cones. Once they were pushed into the end of the blowgun they reshaped themselves into circles and shot fine. I've only shot the mini-broadheads so far.I propped a 1/2" piece of plywood against a tree in our backyard and from about ten yards away aimed for a knot in the wood. My first shot was low, but after that achieved a tight grouping around and on top of the knot, so tight I actually penetrated one of the darts cones, and this was the first time I'd tried this blowgun!Even more surprising, I had to use a pair of pliers to pull all but a couple of the darts out of the plywood. Most buried their heads in the wood, and a few were even starting to poke out the back of the board. I honestly wasn't expecting that kind of power or accuracy.The blowgun is solidly made and at this price a bargain, especially considering how well it performs.On a side note, I've seen several videos on youTube detailing how to make your own darts by using paper cones, nails and hot glue. For the heck of it I made a few - took about three minutes to make one - and tried them out. To my surprise they outperformed the mini-broadheads! Not only were they tighter packed around my target, but they penetrated the plywood!
