Note that this doesn't come with batteries. They're about £60 each for the 18v system.I was fortunate enough to already have 2 batteries that came with my SDS system I purchased a couple years back.Comparing this to a standard (the green Bosch) tools, there's a reason they cost more.Superior build quality, designed to take a beating, for longer.Far less plastic.These tools don't come cheap, but you get what you pay for. Buy cheap, buy twice as they say.

Now of course when i was offered this drill, i had to take the opportunity. The only issue is that i did not have a battery or charger... so amazon won and i had to purchase them!I am glad that i bought the battery and charger because the drill is fantastic. It feels a complete upgrade from my loved and well used basic ryobi drill. The brushless motor on this drill is night and day difference to a brushed motor in my ryobi. The soft start and variable rotation speeds are seemless and smooth - it does not feel stepped at all.The drill itself does what is expected. I am not the biggest fan of the kickback control but perhaps i have not use it in an application where it has been really needed yet. Easy to turn this off though so no issues there.I almost made up a job in the garden to test this drill, mixing between my ryobi impact and the bosch professional drill. The weight distribution of the drill has a central centre of gravity to the drill making it pleasant to hold and use when drilling. The drill is high torque forces are within the footprint of the drill meaning it is nice to use.Overall, i am very pleased with the drill and its capabilities. It is a capable drill with a premium feel and i am glad to have it in my toolbox.If i were to buy the battery, charger and the drill for >£200, i would have struggled to justify the cost. If my tools were my main job, possibly, but i would likely already have a trade worthy drill for use and would stay with that brand. If i were to start out with quality tooling, i would certainly choose the bosch. Its a very nice drill to use and i am happy with it.

Dabei wurde er sowohl zum Schrauben als auch zum Bohren in Metall und Beton getestet.Er mag nicht an die Leistung einer netzgebundenen Maschine herankommen, ist dafür aber leichter und kompakter als solche Maschinen.In unserem Fall konnte das Gerät in allen Aspekten voll überzeugen.Bosch typisch liegt das Gerät sehr gut in der Hand, das Design ist durchdacht und die Bedienung selbsterklärend.Der Bosch GSB 18V-65 ist ein leistungsstarker, kompakter und vielseitiger Akku-Bohrschrauber, der sowohl für den professionellen Einsatz als auch für ambitionierte Heimwerker bestens geeignet ist. Wie von Bosch gewöhnt, ist die Verarbeitungsqualität sehr hoch. Von uns bekommt das Gerät daher eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

I have a whole range of cordless tools from Bosch Professional that I am happy with, some of which I have had since 2001 and the only maintenance was replacing the brushes, so I have now purchased a cordless impact screwdriver that has a brushless motor. This Bosch screwdriver holds up well, has great performance and works great so far, so I am giving it 5 stars again for now.

Like a lot of electrical tools these days, you need to ensure you have the battery and charger when buying this but they make this very obvious in the description and pictures. It's just a great quality piece of kit to add to your tool list. Torque is great and adaptable as required, and fittings are snug and tight. Ergonomically it fits lovely in the hand feels substantial without being too heavy - just a really lovely piece of design from a great brand.
