I bought two spools of Cortland Ultra Premium Fluorocarbon Tippet, 0X and 1X. Both look very thin for their strength, and they are only .001 different in diameter. While I have not yet fished them, I am confident they will work very well for fly tippets and spinning/casting leaders off braided line. In the hand they appear uniform and strong.

Very strong for its diameter, very easy to tie knots with, strength ratio is quite high for tippet diameter.The fluorocarbon visibility is almost nothing under water which helps make trout readily grab the fly

I’ve used them all and this is super strong and durable material. I’ve landed 24” fish on 6x on a euro rod with no problems and knot strength is excellent too.
