The ottoman is an excellent addition to our living room. It looks small but very strong and a great footrest. The storage is perfect for two blankets.

I have a very narrow entrance way in my condo--front door opens to a sliding closet on one side, wall on the other, and directly next to the closet is my fridge. I can't put a bench in front of the closet without making opening it extremely annoying, and the space on the wall opposite is limited both due to the width and how the fridge door opens. This ottoman is perfect for my space!It's a great seat for dealing with trickier laced shoes and a perfect place to set down my phone and bag. I especially like it during the winter, when I want to step into my condo as little as possible so I don't trek in sleet and salt, and at the same time I want to set down my stuff ASAP to take off my coat so I don't boil.The thinner rectangular shape means that I can fit it against the wall and have plenty of room to walk past it, and it doesn't get in the way of my front door or the fridge door opening fully. It's padded well so it's comfy, and it's sturdy enough that I don't feel afraid at all to plop down on it as I would a normal chair, or even to stand on it to grab something from the top of the closet (I'm 130 lbs, for reference). I kind of doubt the claimed max weight of 330 lbs though, just based on the way it's structured and the thickness of the sides. I'd say that up to 150lbs I'd have full confidence in both sitting and standing on it, and then past that you can probably sit on it as long as you're careful, up to maybe 180lbs? This is all guessing, but the longer sides are 4 pieces of material so there's already seams to consider, plus it's really not that thick.The bottom is also pretty thin, but it fits tightly and forces the sides straight pretty well. I put some lighter but bulkier items in it (filters for my humidifier), which is perfect since I didn't have a good place for those items and they still allow me to move the ottoman around easily. This is also great as an extra seating option for guests.The grey colour is a little darker IRL than the pictures, but not by much. It's a great colour for hiding minor dust and accidentally scuffing it with shoes, so I'm pretty happy with it. I would say that it's a little pricier than warranted ($30 at the time of my purchase), but the unique size and decent build quality still makes it worth it. The beige one was $20, but I wanted the grey one...I'd say that if you're okay with beige, that price is pretty good!Overall, if you need something narrow and you're only going to occasionally sit/stand on it (or if you're petite), this ottoman is great! The height and padding makes it comfy, and the size makes it easy to use in small spaces.
