The idea of having a rear-facing screen to take advantage of the forward camera on your phone... seems like the most elusive feature. Removed from phone concepts since the dawn of the forward-facing smartphone camera and probably one of the more practical selfie solutions. This screen sets out to accomplish this goal, although it comes up short in a few aspects.1. The screen is much too bulky. It's proportionally bigger than the open space on the back of any phone. I tested mine on an iPhone 15 pro max and it hung over the edge about 2 cm. It is also roughly twice the thickness of said phone, even with the case. This makes the combo feel awkward.2. The controls are dodgy. I found that using the buttons would either provide a delayed response or none at all, making setup frustrating. Having to pair with Bluetooth and screen mirroring is a lot of steps, especially considering how often I found myself stuck on the screen mirror pairing screen, failing numerous times before it paired.3. Delayed video. The delay between motion is not fast enough to provide an accurate monitoring. I would estimate it at over 30ms.4. Resolution. The highest resolution it is capable of is 1080p, according to the manual. It hardly seems to cover that, appearing more like 720p. Leaves a lot to be desired, considering the objective of the device is to allow for high-resolution pictures.I can see the advantages for remote pictures, if you have the patience to set it up... this might work for you. But considering how most technology is quick to pair and play these days, this one seems a bit behind the times.

This is very useful to have if you like to take pictures with your main camera on your phone and would like to see what is on your screen to frame the picture. It's super easy to connection. Just turn it on, and in your Android device, you go and start to mirror the screen. The screen on the mini monitor will tell you what to do on your phone whether it be iPhone, Android, or Samsung Android. Once you have it connected, it will show you what is on your screen. The device is not touch screen! Keep in mind it's there to just show you what in on your phone screen. It comes with a case that will allow this to be held up via magsafe magnets to your phone/case, and the case has two rings to accommodate what you need, but if you're using this for Samsung - once on the phone, the device will slightly block the telephoto lens on the phone. Good news, you're likely not using that lens when taking a picture like this. The resolution on the device is decent, but it cannot show the entire screen of the phone without lowering the resolution on the device. That's fine - you just want to see the screen to take a pic. It comes with a cable to charge this device. My results were fairely good - there is slight lag, but not much. You still need to hit the shutter button on the phone, or use a shutter release Bluetooth button when taking a pic though.I think a more central mag safe point on the case would make it fit better on the back on Samsung phones, but the case instad has two rings - one toward each edge.

This is hard to review because I was unable to get it working properly for it's actual use-case, but that's down to my hardware than fault of the device itself. The device is just a 1080p screen with built-in WiFi that can be used to mirror your phone screen. I wasn't able to set this up on my Pixel 7 Pro because that'd only recognise devices on the same WiFi network, and despite this screen showing the WiFi SSID and key, I was unable to 'see' it on my phone so couldn't connect. However, it did work flawlessly on my PC though... I just turned on the WiFi, added a remote display, and it showed up immediately, connected straight away, and for all intents, appeared to work perfectly enough.I was able to connect my Pixel 7 Pro to it via Bluetooth, and confirm that the camera functionality works, which it did.The screen is also supplied with a 'MagSafe' case (supplied in a separate box for some reason). It's a perfect fit for the screen and has two MagSafe rings built into it, so you can easily attach it to the back of your phone in a couple of different orientations. When it's powered on, it displays the instructions on how to connect for iOS and Android; again the Android option requires Screen Mirroring to be accessible. The screen is clear, and well protected in the box to arrive in perfect condition. If your phone is able to support it, it'd be a great addition - it's even useful as a small display screen in other circumstances (e.g. maybe to project Home Assistant information?)
