I love that the yellow clock is bright and cheerful, but if you're 12-15 ft away you can't see the white numbers because the yellow is so bright! So I can't tell what time it is from across my kitchen. I will keep it and put it in another location. It's a great clock, silent ticking and bright and fun.

We bought two of these... one with a black casing and the other in white. Very happy with this black one but unfortunately the white one developed a noisy ticking. Had that white one replaced, but the replacement also developed the same ticking, so that ended up being refunded. Yet have not had any trouble at all with this black one. Except for the outside colour both clocks seem identical so unsure why only the white ones developed faults. Our black one is silent with easy to read symmetrical numerals on a clear face, which is what attracted us to this item out of the many clocks available on the market. Cheap zinc carbon (not alkaline) batteries are recommended. The clock arrives well packaged with a wall clip to hang it with. Happy!
