It took me 1 min to pull out the stuck seal that other no-name brand tool wasn't able to pull out after a dozen tries. If you're doing crank seal replacement on N52 engines, don't bother with unknown brand. Use reputable brand's tool such as this one. I wasted hours and also caused damages to my engine using no name tools. This one is built to the right spec to fit just right.

Ordered this puller and within 20 minutes I had the crank seal out. No way I would have gotten it out any other way. It works perfectly with the n20 engine.

I had the serpentine belt on my 2010 bmw x3 shredded from the oil leak from the oil filter housing. Which wrapped around the crank shaft and destroyed my crank shaft seal. Would not come out with out this tool.

The listing states this is for the N54 engine. This also works on the N52. I had tried the other methods with screws and the screws just pulled out. I thought I was stuck but this tool did the trick.
