These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. The wide low heel is great for dancing. The look is good for dress or pants while appearing sleek and dressy. I have a wide foot and usually wear an 8.5 wide. So I ordered a 9.5 and my feet are quite comfortable and my toes have room. I will need to punch 2 extra holes to make the strap a little tighter, but that is not a problem. The sides look open, but are not which is great. No toes sticking out the side of the shoe! Excellent price for a suede bottom dance shoe.
