F-4 Phantom IITM Südostasien Camo (1:155) Der McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II gilt als eines der erfolgreichsten Kampfdesigns aller Zeiten. Es ist ein zweisitziger Twinjet Langstrecken-Überschalljet-Abfangjäger und Jagdbomber, der ursprünglich für die United States Navy entwickelt wurde. Mit Höchstgeschwindigkeiten, die mehr als doppelt so viel Sound sind, etablierte der F-4 16-Gang-, Höhen- und Zeitaufzeichnungen. Als Allround-Performer war der F-4 Phantom das erste Flugzeug, das gleichzeitig von den USAF, USN und USMC eingesetzt wurde und gleichzeitig in etwa 11 anderen Ländern diente. Der 363d Tactical Reconnaissance Wing wurde 1965 für Kampfeinsätze in Südostasien eingesetzt und flog fotografische und elektronische Intelligenzmissionen, um sowohl Luft- als auch Bodenoperationen zu unterstützen. USAF Tactical Air Command stützte sich während des Vietnamkrieges auf F-4 Phantoms in Südostasien. Dieses Flugzeugmodell aus Druckguss-Metall kommt im Maßstab 1:155 mit Kunststoffständer und ist ca. 12,4 cm lang mit 9,5 cm Spannweite. Sammlerstück für Erwachsene, ab 14 Jahren

I actually flew this tail number back in the day, nice detail, glad to have it on my mantle, would love a little larger size but ultimately pleased with this one.

I sent this to my best friend who served in Viet Nam in the Air Force. I served with the Air Wing in the Marines. I knew he would love having this on his desk. I bought the same one but with Marine insignia. These are highly detailed and look great. Nice gift for the veteran in your life.

I absolutely adore military aviation history and I wanted some models to collect. If you're looking for some good aircraft model, these ones are the way to go. They're made of metal and pretty heavy (as to be expected). They come with a stand bearing the name of the aircraft and it's scale size relative to it's real counterpart. Sure, they are pretty expensive but I think it's worth it.

Great model of the Phantom II from my era in the USAF. It accurately depicts the reconnaissance version of the aircraft.
