I have no idea what this company sent me but this did not work for my boat at all as stated in there post was upset but they did refund my money don't buy if you have a 1987 V6 175 HP Mercuriser engine will not match up.

Needed a short notice alternator for an event. Got this overnight for a great price. Planned to paint it, but casing looks nice quality, right out of the box. To the reviewer that says it doesn't charge below 2k rpm. That's the way its designed. It lists that in the instructions. With a pulley that small, most engines won't have a problem hitting that speed at idle. I've only run it for a little while, but muchas gracias !
