Die Pumpe kommt gut verpackt mit Siegel daher. Die Pumpe an sich wirkt sehr wertig. Der Controller durch das leichte Gewicht eher nicht. Es liegt ebenfalls eine Anleitung bei, die die Bedienung, meiner Meinung nach, ausreichend beschreibt. Die Auswahl an Schlauchstutzen und Anschlüssen für PVC Verrohrung ist mehr als ausreichend.Ich benutze die Pumpe auch nur für Wasserwechsel größerer Aquarien um diesen zu beschleunigen. Wenn ein Schlauch mit 19mm Durchmesser angeschlossen ist dann geht das auch wirklich sehr fix.Anfängliche Versuche mit einem 12mm Schlauch bzw Kupplungen führten leider dazu, dass nur ein Rinsal aus dem Schlauch lief.Ich habe mir aus Filtermatten noch einen Filteraufsatz zurechtgeschnitten den ich in den Korb setzen kann um kleinere Tiere nicht zu gefährden, da die Pumpe schon einen deutlichen Sog erzeugt.Ich bin absolut zufrieden, würde die Pumpe wieder kaufen und freue mich richtig auf die kommen Wasserwechsel 👍🏼

I bought this to replace my Magdrive9.5 that I've had running on my 90 gallon for about 15 years. Never had an issue with that one but I thought I'd try these new DC pumps since they are so energy efficient. Worst case if it breaks down prematurely I can always put my old one back on . The power seems comparable between the two even though this one says it should have about 200 more gph. If that's a wash then cutting down from using 93 watts on a continuous basis to 20 watts becomes an attractive choice. Since I use it as a circulation pump, I won't be using the intermittent feature or the variable output. I may play around with the feeding setting however.So far the real difference has been the sound. This one is dead quiet even in my awkward application. Due to limited sump space since I still have an outdated and oversized skimmer, I've had to dangle this pump from my return hose since I don't have enough room to fully seat it in my sump. Even with the strainer cap removed it's a bit longer than my Magdrive was. Surprisingly, this still hasn't created any noise. I can say for sure that if my Magdrive was mounted this way, the vibrations would be unbearable.So first impressions are great. I can't attest to the durability or longevity since I've just installed it. If I can get at least five years out of this I'll be happy and way ahead of the cost of operation.Update:Failed after one year. Took it apart and cleaned it. It wasn’t dirty. It appears the failure is in the electronics. Minus two stars for lack of durability.

This pump is very nice, in fact has plenty of adapters along with the rubber gaskets which you almost never get. It also came with some slip adapters if you want to hard plumb it to PVC which is a super nice extra. The odd thing is it did not come with the power cord to go from the outlet to the ac adapter. No biggie for me as i have at least 10 of those somewhere in the house, but you might want to confirm. The other odd thing is the manual says it's a 90 watt pump but the pump says it's 80 watt. Took off one star for missing cord. Will update once i connect it to water.Update: Pump has been in my pond running nonstop connected to my Deltec skimmer for about 2 months., I have to run it on the lowest setting of 101 to keep water level where i need it. So far it has been amazing and it is virtually silent next to the two Eheims it sits next to. I enclosed the controller in an outdoor box and no issues whatsoever.

The pump is quiet. I couldn’t hear the pump running at all. It’s also very powerful. The adjustability of the flow of water is very nice to have to fine tune the output.The pump seems constructed well. Good plastic parts and everything looks solid. The rubber feet are nice to prevent vibration and noise.There were several adapters for different hose sizes and uses. I tested it as a return pump.The controller is easy to use. I had no issues pushing the various buttons to control settings.I took 1 star off because it doesn’t come with a power cord to connect to the power brick. This does not make any sense why and is an inconvenience. Luckily I have a few extras I had to dig around for.
