So far one of the best soccer balls I’ve put my hands on. Solid core and perfectly round. The touch is perfect and solid. I’ve only used it for personal dribble training and handling drills so far it’s handled very well. I haven’t put it into game play yet but I’ve worked it very hard so I’m positive it will handle great during game play. Planning to use it in my two games this Sunday for a true review. I’ll report back

Having used over 20 excellent match balls over the last 10 years, I can honestly verify that this is the best ball I have ever used!First, in terms of appearance, the color is outstanding. With the yellow highlighting, you will be able to track this ball, especially if it finds its way into the margins outside the field (I've lost quite a few out of bounds).Second, the texture is also perfect for wet throw-ins, being better than the previous dimpled iterations. I had to use it in a downpour on a grass field and didn't feel that it would squirt out of my hands and make me look foolish.Third, the feel of the ball on the foot is addictive. Understand, there is something about Select Brillant Supers that "lifts" the ball slightly off the ground. Not sure if this is due to each panel being raised somehow, but there is definitely something special in how they make the ball easier to smack! And when you kick it....it is soooo sweet. I had a line drive cross in a game and I can still picture it leaving my foot with perfect velocity and height.Last, I appreciate that this is still made in Pakistan. China just basically blows out soooo many products that it becomes boring to buy almost anything from there as it just feels average. Pakistan has produced soccer balls for decades and they are generally pretty good. No idea of how the workers are treated, so I'm crossing my fingers that Select's European heritage is ahead of the labor law curve?Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a 2nd Derbystar, except that I have 20 other balls that make for a cloistered garage.
