This makes it a lot easier not only to get smooth shots but also just to hold the gimbal, especially over a longer period.Yes, it costs half as much as the gimbal itself (in my case the Ronin RS3 Mini) - but it makes it twice as good. I'd recommend this or something like this if you want your gimbal to do the job well.

Das Produkt ist wertig verarbeitet. Die Federn in den Armen bewegen sich allerdings nicht ganz geräuschlos (leichtes Knarren). Ich habe sie an den Aufhängungen nachschmieren müssen. Bei ganz gering eingestellter Spannung der Arme, bewegen sie sich nicht (ganz) gleichmäßig (offensichtlich unterschiedliche Grundspannung der Federn). Auf den Einsatz hat dies allerdings einen kaum / nicht relevanten Einfluss.

Sehr gute Stabilisation des Z-Achsen Stabilisators.Der Stabilisator ist ziemlich gut verarbeite, alles sauber, keine scharfen Kanten, nichts steht ab. Optik ist auch gut, schaut schick aus. Mit seinem, nur knapp 1 Kilo Gewicht zudem auch recht handlich.Die Griffe sind durch die Gummierung extrem griffig und die Spannschrauben bzw. Arretierungen hochwertig und fühlen sich recht stabil an.Die Montage und Einrichtung ist schnell und einfach zu gestalten. Am Anfang ist es bisschen eine Spielerei die Federn richtig einzustellen aber in Summe alles easy. Zum Mitnehmen und Verstauen ist der Stabi genauso schnell wieder zerlegt und ziemlich kompakt.Die Stabilisation beim Dreh ist sensationell gut. Ruckeln bzw. Gehbewegungen werden komplett rausgenommen und geglättet. Das Ergebnis ist eine sehr ruhige und Aufnahme.

A useful product if it had been in working order. The left handle had a "clonking" sound from the spring and the action was a bit stucked. It also looked in used condition so I'm sending it back.

Dieser Stabilisator ist einfach der absolute Hammer.Top verarbeitet einfach zu montieren, ohne Werkzeug verstellbar und schick obendrein.Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle, denen eine gute Verarbeitungsqualität der Aufpreis (zum Plastikbomber) Wert ist.

It kind of looks like its not working but its actually compensating Z axis movement pretty well.why 4 stars because the nato clamps are the wrong gender on the rs2 they could have attached direct to the side of the gimbal instead of attaching to a collar. If you have other gimbals its easy to adapt.

This is a great piece of kit. I have a Zhiyun crane 2 and this fits it really well. I like the fact it breaks down into 3 pieces which are easy to pack away; a central grip for the gimbal and 2 articulating cross members that look like miniature pieces of a steadicam rig. It's build quality is robust - and reallyfeels sorted. Some of the release screws can be a bit fiddly to release sometimes but it's not a deal breaker. The adjustment screws for the spring tension to adjust for heavier payloads are again a touch fiddly but I can live with that as I generally don't find myself changing them that often.Now - does this thing live up to it's claims? Honeslty I think it exceeds them. It claims a 33% reduction in up/down bobbing on a gimbal. I reckon it's way more. I'm no gimbal expert but it brought about an immediate and highly noticeable smoothing out of my gimbal shots where I'm walking. Just another level of smoothness and polish that just makes it look better. Using rigid gimbal handles I can't get smooth shots - duck walk or not. There's always up and down bobbing noticeable.I've done daft things like jogging on the spot whilst filming and yes, you can pick up some movement in the shot but nothing like you'd think - and often times none at all. I think with practice and better technique I could run with this and get smooth shots to the point you'd be hard pressed to distinguish between it and a full on steadicam. As it is it's smoothed out my walking shots so that they are super smooth and I've been able to climb stairs and get really decently smooth results, no lurching up or down in the shot. It really helps by not drawing the viewer's attention to erratic or unwanted camera jerks - much more than I thought it would - as those unwanted moves are simply not there anymore.Compared to Zhiyun's own rigid gimbal handles - well there really is no comparison in a stabilisation point of view. The Zhiyun handles do offer more scope for moutning stuff as you can't mount stuff directly to the cross members of this device as they articulate up and down. Mount points are provided on top of each handle so you should be able to get at montior on one handle and something else on the other.All round a fantastic and ingenious solution for a decent price.

Si adatta bene al moza Air 2 . Ottimi materiali di costruzione in lega di alluminio di alta qualità. Provato a pieno carico . L unica pecca che non smorza esattamente come dovrebbe...tende molto a rimbalzare anche con le molle completamente allentate. Devi cercare di evitare che rimbalzi...e questo mi deconcentra dalle riprese. Sicuramente meglio usare un armatura con braccio . Devi lavorare per forza con un aiuto al focus altrimenti devi tenere la camera in automatico o completamente a fuoco . Da usare solo se devi fare delle riprese in corsa. Per altre tipi di riprese meno dinamiche basta lo stabilizzatore elettronico . Prezzo secondo me molto eccessivo. Non dovrebbe costare più di 120 euro. Non so se ridarlo indietro ...ci sto pensando.

Funktionalitæt: Diese Z Achsen Stabilisierung funktioniert top. Zum einen werden Auf und Abs bei normalem gehen komplett rausgenommen, zum andern werden sie selbst bei leichtem Rennen extrem minimiert. Durch den Zweihandgriff ist der Ronin S auch in den anderen Achsen viel ruhiger und sicherer zu fùhren. Man hat so einen Zweihandgimbal und bei Bedarf einen Einhandgimbal zugleich. Beide haben ihre Vorteile. Bedenken muss man jedoch, dass beim Führen des Z Achsen Gimbals keine Steuerung des Joysticks etc. am Ronin mehr möglich ist. Die Z Achsen Stabilisierung kann daher nur für normale Moves verwendet werden. Aber gerade dafür ist der Ares ja gemacht.Qualität: Die Verarbeitung des DF Ares ist top und wird der Hochwertigkeit des Ronin S absolut gerecht. Stabiles Aluminium ist hier klar der Vorteil zur deutlich billigeren Plastikvariante. Die Mehreuros sollte man m.E. aufbringen. Bricht bei der Plastikversion Mal etwas, liegen so schnell Mal ein paar Tausend Euro am Boden. Der Ares muss am Ronin wirklich straff angezogen werden um sicher zu halten. Bei der Plastikalternative kann ich mir vorstellen, dass das irgendwann Mal ermüdet und bricht. Hier bei der Aluminiumvariante absolut keine Gefahr Die Griffe liegen top in der Hand. Der Aufbau ist extrem easy und selbsterklärend. Das Einstellen der Federn ist ebenfalls schnell getan. Der Ares ist im Gewicht nicht zu spùren. Das komplette Setup wird ohnehin leichter, da der Ronin ja nun mit zwei Händen statt mit einer geführt wird oder werden kann.Von mir, der dieses Teil hauptberuflich nutzt eine klare Kaufempfehlung
