Fortunately I already have a kit of variously sized O-rings, and so I was able to find one and install it. Without a O-ring, I would expect a slow steady drip into the boat. Otherwise a good product for a good price.

I bought these so I can put a drain plug in my 12' aluminum boat. Worked great except it leaks where it threads into the housing. Just put a garden hose gasket ring in it. All good now 😊

For a snug fit, drill a hole its closer to I used silicone sealant and didn't rely on the adhesive foam backing, although under screw pressure it would probably have worked fine anyway. I'm just not one to fix anything more than once. :-)

these worked perfectly but, I would have liked if they were a little bit longer so that the screw holes were not so close to the drain hole
