I had to gently file a couple of the pieces in this set to get them to correctly fit; the crank lock looks to have been machined accurately, then chrome plated which made it a hair too large. Took the lip off and it fits beautifully. The VVT rewind tool also needed chamfers putting on the pins in order for them to locate correctly. No big deal. To those who have bent the exhaust cam brace tool, I say: Read The Manual. It's only supposed to have about 15lb/ft on it to correctly tension the secondary chain as you tighten the bolts up. It's not meant to take the full force of reacting against tightening the bolt to 80lb/ft. Beyond that, it held the crank and cams in place nicely, the little grenade pin is to lock the upper tensioners in place, the bigger one the lower ones. Happy, it allowed me to change the chains without concern of losing engine timing.

There are many versions of this tool. The kits with the brass looking VVT tensioning tool from other vendors did not work at all for me on the VVT sprockets for a 2002 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 V8. The brass looking ones simply would not fit down the main hole in the sprocket. The fact is there is only one tensioning tool listed by Jaguar for pre-tensioning the VVTs on the 3.0, 4.0 and 4.2 V8s and that is part #303-654 so ideally all these kit tools should work. They do not. The VVT tensioning tool in this kit was the only one I found that fit down through the main hole into the VVT sprocket. The issue with it was that the dowel pins on the end of the tool were machined a whisker too large to fit in the tiny tensioning dowel holes at the bottom of the VVT. I was in the middle of a timing chain job so did not have time to send the kit back. I simply ground down the dowel pins on the tool a bit until they fit. It did not take much. I reached out to the vendor about the issue and they immediately made an adjustment to the price. Very impressive! Bottom line - if you buy the other kits (the red ones) the VVT tensioning tool will probably not fit at all into your VVT sprocket which will completely short circuit the ability to finish your timing chain job. If you buy this kit, worse case is you might have to grind down the dowel pins a bit but at least you can finish. OR you can buy the OEM version of this tool but at almost $300 but that was a pass for me.
