This is identical to a pruning saw I bought from Wickes over 5 years ago and is basedon my experience of that oneThese saws are razor sharp, a good length and the weight in the handle helps impart someforce to the strokes. And they fold. And maybe most important of all the blade is straight.I temporarily lost the Wickes saw and bought the Wickes replacement which had a curvedblade. Which I personally found useless as it made long strokes more difficult.I then found the old one again, but have purchased this one as a backup in case I lose it againor it eventually goes blunt which I somehow doubt.Mainly used up a ladder when cutting thin braches on a tree.michael adams

Ottimo seghetto adatto per lavori di potatura di olivi e piante da frutto il taglio è preciso e pulito...non strappa il tronco lo consiglio ...l'unica pecca è che non si trovano le lame di ricambio cosa che non dovrebbe succedere ....

Worth paying that little bit more for a solid metal constructed handle and super sharp folding blade.This is the smaller version of its bigger brother

I borrowed one of these from a friend to cut the branches from 11 large conifers. It made the job very easy, being able to saw between each branch without being impeded by other branches. It is so easy & comfortable to use that it feels like an extension of the hand! I was so happy with this tool that I bought a new one here to replace the loaned pruning saw & have kept the loaned one myself. I had never seen one of these before & think that it's the best tool for trees ever invented & definitely worth investing in - money very well spent! Try for yourself!
