I have been using potato ricer for years but now as I am getting older I'm having problems pressing the handles together and it's leaving my arms aching the next day. I bought a device which would whip cream and mash potato but the potato was the 'cheffy' kind where it is more like puree and that is not what our family likes, we want to feel the texture of potato. So we started looking but nothing appeared right for us. The closest was a large potato ricer kind of device with a handle to turn rather than press together but it was about £50. Then on a tik tok review my daughter saw this and it was perfect for us, the video she saw included a shot of the masher being placed on top of a single potato and mashing it perfectly, it also works great on a full bowl of potatoes and the silicone scraper works a treat. It's so simple to add this to the edge and means you don't have to go and get a spatula to finish the job. The price was really good, I don't know what it is but I find it really hard thinking of spending a lot of money on something to mash spuds, it just doesn't fit in my thoughts somehow and under £20 was perfect. Love it!

Buen producto, ideal para puré y guacamole, no le doy 5 estrellas porque hay que aplicar fuerza para hacer el puré. Pero en resumen es bastante bueno

Habe noch nie so leckeres Kartoffelpüree gegessen und vor allem so schnell und große Anstrengung zubereitet. Der Kauf hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Was soll man zu Haushaltsgeräten groß schreiben ... Der Stampfer funktioniert super! Vorher war ich immer auf die Hilfe meines Mannes angewiesen, dass er mir beim "Kartoffelquetschen" hilft. Mittlerweile war das alte Dinge so verzogen, dass es echt Mühe bereitete, die Kartoffeln da durch zu quetschen. Mit dem neuen Kartoffelstampfer klappt es super. Mit den richtigen Kartoffeln (mehligkochend) gelingt blitzschnell und kinderleicht das Kartoffelpüree ... keine Anstrengung, keine Sauerei, einfach stampfen und fertig!! Ich würde ihn allen Püreeliebhabern absolut empfehlen!!

Dieser Stampfer ist megagut. Wir haben schon immer ein Faible für cremiges Püree, aber mit diesem Stampfer gelingt es wahrhaftig. Man muss sich erst etwas daran gewöhnen - aber dann ist der Erfolg gewiss. Auch bei großen Mengen !!!

Eigentlich nicht zu gebrauchen, wenn man ihn mit einem herkömmlichen Stampfer vergleicht.Wenn man einen Topf gefüllt mit Kartoffeln stampfen möchte ist dies im Grunde unmöglich, da sich die "Feder" am Topf Rand hoch drückt und einfach nichts zerdrückt.Für mich nicht brauchbar und leider heraus geschmissenes Geld.Mag funktionieren wenn man nur soviel unter den Stampfer legt wie darunter passt, was zumindest für mich nicht praktikabel ist.

Habe bisher zwar nur Avocadomus damit hergestellt, aber das klappt super schnell. Kartoffelstampf gilt es noch zu testen... Ich werde berichten.

Auf der Suche nach einem leicht funktionierendem Kartoffelstampfer wurde mir dieser empfohlen und ich bin damit sehr zufrieden. Einfache Handhabung, wenig Aufwand, schnelles Ergebnis und leichte Reinigung! Bester Kartoffelstampfer, den ich nicht mehr missen möchte. Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Mit keinem anderen Kartoffelstampfer hatten wir bisher so ein schnelles Stampfergebnis. Das Gerät ist sehr stabil, leicht zu reingen und nimmt wenig Platz in der Ablage ein, also sehr empfehlenswert.

Update (7-30-2023): I've had this masher since 2012. I have used it at least once a week since purchase, and I still find it to be the most durable, easiest to clean and use, and best masher I've ever owned. It still looks like new. I use it to effortlessly mash bananas, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and avocados. It works okay on beans, but only if they are well-cooked and soft. Very satisfied.=*=*=(Original review from 2012)This is one cool little potato smasher. Perfect in every way and definitely worth the price tag.It did a superb job at mashing potatoes. The first time I used it, it took a moment to get used to the springing action. It feels like it is not getting to the bottom of the pan, but it is. Once I got used to it, I quickly made a pot of perfect, smooth and creamy mashed taters. It did a great job mashing some pinto beans, too. And avocados. And tofu for a dip. I've used it several times now, and I can tell you that it is going to be in my kitchen for a very long time.It is substantially made: solid, heavy gauge spring, and heavier in weight than other mashers I have tried, but well-balanced. It has a very comfortable handle. It is very easy to clean. It is also esthetically pleasing, and it comes in some cool colors. Image that - form and function!I just sent my old metal masher and my plastic KitchenAid potato masher to Goodwill.
