I have a 2012 BMW E92 335i with the individual audio package. This upgrade is days better.

These things are a definite upgrade from the weak stock subs I had in my E60 hifi system. I run them from an aftermarket amp and they give good clean crisp bass. They aren't going to set off any car alarms in the neighborhood when you drive by but I was going for a set up that stimulates my home studio set up and these worked out perfect for what I was looking for.

Easy install and great fit. I went with 4ohm. I have a Bang and Olufsen in my M5. I have Bavsound ghost subs and they have a little cleaner sound than these but much less bass and volume! One went bad and instead of paying $600/pair to replace I tried these. Very happy so far.

These are great speakers (not subwoofers) for certain BMW OEM integration. They fit perfectly under the seats in the factory location, plug and play.These speakers can not handle 150 W RMS; not even close. I have each speaker on their own channels of an aftermarket amplifier with each speaker receiving 75W RMS max and one of them consistently pops at a low frequency response (~30hz).If you are going to upgrade your amplifiers then these will not do it for you. If you are simply replacing OEM under seat speakers, these may be ok.

I got 2 of these to replace the factory under seat woofers in my BMW. For what it is, it really makes great bass, certainly much better then the boomy and soft sounding Harmon Kardon system that came with the car. So instead of just hearing deep sounding bass, you can now feel it. On top of that, the factory speakers can't reproduce the really low bass. From my experience, the bass rolls off at nearly 100hz! So anything under 100hz, you can barely hear it. With the new amp and these speakers, you can hear all the way down to 20hz. You can FEEL it all the way down 20hz. Of course, these will never be as powerful as a 12" sub box in the trunk, but if need as much trunk space as I can get, then these should satisfy your bass needs without sacrificing any trunk space.FYI, I paired this with a Kenwood 500W (@2ohms) mono amp and it's a great match. A mistake many people make is getting an amp to match the speakers RMS handling 1:1. However, to properly power subwoofers, you will want an amp that's 1.5x to 2x the RMS handling power. Also, if you're putting this is the BMW F30, you will need the adapters and remove the little "fins" inside the sub enclosure to make this it properly.
