I was looking for years for an alternative for my bad tasting silicone stick ice makers. Those cost 50 cents a piece, a total of 3 Euros for a family. These here cost 10 Euros a piece, a total of 60 Euros for a family. For this price we were hoping for a good product.The materials look good, although I would have preferred to have all stainless steel and no silicone, but even these have small pieces of plastic attached. Ugh.But despite this it simply is designed well and enhances the opening experience of the freezer.Unfortunately, it does not enhance the ice eating experience. The ice fresh from the freezer must be thawed out in tap water otherwise, one just pulls out the steel stick.Then, you must not re-insert or it refreezes to the steel hull.Then, while eating, the steel stick easily gets stuck in between teeth, leading to a painful experience and the danger of cracking some tooth fillings.When trying to advance the ice during eating, the ice does not move. But once it moves, you have to be careful not to drop the ice blocks. And the hand held umbrella-lid is always wobbly.Overall, this gadget can be summarised as: overpriced designer piece with low functionality. A pity.We will keep using it, with its downsides, simply because there is no steel-only based alternative available.

The product was shipped on time and arrived with nice packaging. All components except the silicon stoppers and handles are high quality stainless steel. The set fits into my fridge but also in my kitchen cabinet. I made my first caipirinha popsicle with lime and sugar and it was delicious.

Ich bin schwer begeistert.Das Eis aus den Formen schmeckt sooo gut.absolut hochwertiges Material👌ist zwar kein Schnäppchen aber jeden Cent wert!
