This gadget could not be simpler to use! It works with regular and wide-mouth mason jars. Ensure the silicone lip of the unit is evenly set on the lip of the jar, and press the button to start and once all of the air has been evacuated it will automatically turn off. This comes with a little jar opener to remove the flat metal portion of the mason jar lid. Love that it’s rechargeable!

I couldn’t believe how easy this vacuum sealer was to use. I like to purchase some food items in bulk and this sealer allows me to keep the food fresh for weeks. The bags that comes the sealer is reusable The sealer works great with the mason jars that I already have. The charger has a long battery life and the vacuum sealer is durable.

Item received in good condition in a brown box. The vacuum sealer is easy to understand how to operate and is very effective too.For mason jars it needs to be the split lid type and home bargains sell these and I use them for jams and pickles this time of year so that was really handy it was the right type of lid.The gadget is well made and it does just what it is meant to and it really helps lock in that freshness. Simple to operate and it takes a few seconds and its done. One of the best add on's with this is the wine stopper. It saves you having to re use the cork upside down and it also removes the air from the wine glass keeping the remaining wine much fresher in the bottle until its drunk.It is powered by a rechargeable battery via a USB so no messing about with plugs and wires when using.
