This is a very neat little lighting unit. It measures approx 74x74mm square by 26mm thick and is very light and portable. It has a push button on/off switch and a seprate push button to chose the light colour from white to purple to blue to green to red to yellow. There are separate buttons to adjust the brightness and to go straight back to bright white and also to cycle through different white colour temperatures from white to warm white colours. At its dimmest you can look at the light, wheras it is difficult to look at at its brightest level. The controls are fairly intuitive. The 2,000mAh battery means the light will run for up to 10 hrs depending on the brightness set. It is easily rechargable via a USB C port and cable provided. It has a standard tripod thread so can be tripod mounted or alternatively it has a standard camera shoe so can be camera mounted. It has a camera shoe recess on the opposite and outer edges and so you could stack several of these if you want to. It also comes with an optional spring clip that attaches to the tripod screw mount on the light. The sprung jaws open up to clip onto a laptop or other item and can open to 24mm max.The light is very diffused and non-directional although the small size of the unit means the light is coming from a small area and so some shadowing may arise for that reason but obviously that is inevitable given the size and portability characteristics. It is certainly enough light to improve the outcome of most indoor photograthy/videograpthy. It is also useful for video calls and for scanning documents, etc. In fact it can be used for any lighting purpose, walking, camping, etc, etc.

This is a very bright "selfie light" that will greatly enhance the lighting capabilities of your phone or tablet when clipped on. As well as three "temperature" modes for white light you also have RGB LEDs which give another seven colour modes (although one of them seems to be another white light). There is a memory feature which operates separately for RGB colours and also for the three white light modes, this enables you to quickly recall a colour mode and brightness setting by one tap of a button. The light also remembers the setting it was in when switched off and turns back on in the same mode (colour and brightness). On max brightness white light I get around two hours continuous usage from the battery and the light does get fairly warm. You can use the light while it is charging but at max brightness this adds extra heat to the charging process. The light can stand alone on a flat surface like a table or bookshelf but an easy to use clip attachment is provided and there is also a standard screw fitting for generic tripods and camera stands. You could just use this as fun lighting for a bedroom or living room, it is really quite versatile, but for its main intended purpose, to provide improved lighting for selfies and other mobile photography, this light works great.

If you need a multi colored selfie light, then the ELZO clip on selfie kit is for you. In the box you get manual of instructions, the selfie light, (clip on), tripod mode (via a third party attachment not supplied) and a usb-c charging cable. The actual light is quite bright, has three changeable modes (warm, natural and neutral white lights), then you can change the rgb modes (supports 7 different color modes and in brightness in those modes too). When it said color cards, I thought it was going be provided with 7 different filters, but its the rgb mode rather than physical attachable filters included. (which I misread). It also has a save mode, so will remember the color and brightness you used, so you dont have to set it up each time. With a 360 degree clip and 90 degree vertically, you can get the selfie light in almost any position.I love the color changeable aspect mode of this selfie light, you can do all the standard warm white modes, but the colors add a certain extra layer of creativity to your snaps, cold day, use blue, hot day, go red, you get the idea, I love rgb when its utilised correctly for things I wouldnt normally think of ways to use it in. As a touch of warmth to your photos, certainly spices them up a bit too. Being rechargeable you get around 8 hours of use depending on brightness, so more than enough for a days use under normal conditions.Pros: 7 color rgb selife kit, warm white modes, brightness adjustable, can save your color settings, rechargeable.Cons: None really, no tripod included, but does support one.

I have plenty of fill lights, a handy choice considering their small form factor, their cold shoe connectivity, their stackability, and how light they are as a portable lighting solution. How does this light stack up against others? It’s definitely not on the premium end of the scale, with a generic plastic feel and noisy plastic buttons. One of the biggest drawbacks is you either have cold, warm, or mixed presets of colour temperature and no in-between Kelvins, bar being able to adjust intensity. The light box sits flat along the frame, so unlike some lights that extend beyond the frame, you won’t get too much light spill around the edges from this. The whole point of lights though is that you don’t tend to see them in shot, so much of this doesn’t matter. You’re best being under a metre away from this for best effect and illumination. With this light, out of the box, expect about 2 hours of continuous lighting. One drawback of the clip it comes with is that it's exactly the width of your iPhone face scanning sensors, meaning if you want to attach it to your phone exactly in the middle, you’ll have to constantly put your PIN in if your phone screen locks. The solution is to clip it to the side, then lose the functionality of some side buttons. Sometimes you can’t win! They also have hotshoe cut-outs on the top and sides, so if you have more lights or other accessories, you can stack as many as your rig can take. It also has screw threads, so most tripods and light stands can also accept it being screwed on top, which is handy. It does get moderately hot at full blast, but we’re talking lukewarm, barely a cup of tea. Out of the box, I’m surprised to say the battery holds on for over an hour and a half with cold and warm diodes at full blast.

This is a bright portable light - but I’m finding it too harsh; too bright.I wasn’t using it for selfies or streaming - I don’t believe I’ve ever taken a single selfie - but for product photography with my phone. It clips to my phone well and it feels secure. The only issue it’s almost as bright as a flash. It comes with foils for colour grading but, honestly, I don’t really know when they’d be useful. On the plus side, it’s cheap, and given I’m not using it for its intended purpose, I daren’t mark it down for that. So, 4 stars.
