Comparison towards the optrel 2.0The only con is the weight which you get used to it.Pros: wider clear/visible area of the arc in comparison to opter which is focused on the arc.. .The shade filters can be adjusted+-0.5 point which makes the welding so comfortable.It comes with batteries, 2 clear visors and 2 yellow and a bag of course.Personally i would like the optrel grind button because i could knock it like iam loading an M16. The sentinels grind button requires pressure which shifts the helmet left side while pressing.Most important, i have NEVER got any sort of arc flash because of the angle i was looking at... Even with medium sensitivity, which makes it far better than the silly auto mode from optrel and their dammed sensors.5 months later the helmet started to function wrong. while iam welding a steel fitting with TIG method for example.. at random points of the weld..it just shuts down or enter the 9.5 filter while i was welding with 11.. and it hurts my eyes to the point i cant weld anymore. The problem is the seller who asks questions i have all already tried and checked before i even sent him a message for help... like he is trying to avoid the guaranties..

Everything about this helmet is great. Ergonomics, functions, view area is very big, and it works fast... Outer replacement lensess are a bit expensive to others, but it is logical since it is a large curved lens. Great for TIG welding and good for MIG also. But if you are welding MIG with more than 150Amps the max settings are a shade 13 and it is not enough for my sensitive eyes.

Déception ! Au bout de deux semaines, la cagoule montre des dysfonctionnements la rendant inutile. La cellule ne fonctionne pas. Je prends des coups d'arc à tout va (nuits terribles 😡). Je soude dans toutes positions, et que malgré les 4 capteurs, elle ne fonctionne pas.

je pensais à mieux d'une ESAB par apport au prix .difficile de régler les mollettes sur le coté pour faire tomber le casque d'un coup de tête .sinon le reste est bien

Vorab ich bin gelernter Metallbauer und schweiße tagtäglich seit über 30 Jahren.Hauptsächlich Mig/Mag aber auch Elektrodenschweißen und Wig.Bin nicht so wirklich begeistert von dem Schweißhelm.Zugegebenermaßen habe ich mich etwas von der Optik des Helms verleiten lassen den Helm zu ordern,sieht halt irgendwie cool aus das Ding xDAber irgendwie wars das dann auch für mich mit dem Positiven.Punkt eins das Einstellen der Schweißkassette über die Folientasten unter dem Display ist eine üble Fummelei und auch die Menüführung ist alles andere als logisch aufgebaut,was dazu führt das man eine Viertelstunde auf den Tasten rumdrückt bis man es irgendwann geschafft hat alles so einzustellen wie man es haben möchte.Dazu kommt das man den Helm nur einstellen kann wenn genug Licht auf das vordere Solarpanel fällt.Das bedeutet wenn auf der Baustelle das Licht etwas nachläßt oder man unter einer Maschine steckt man die Schweißkassette nichtmehr umstellen kann außer man fummelt umständlich mit einer Taschenlampe vor der Solarzelle rum.Wer konstruiert so einen Mist zusammen?Der Helm ist relativ klein gebaut,also nichts für Leute mit etwas größerem Kopf.Wenn man zusätzlich noch Brillenträger ist wird es verdammt eng.Deshalb wollte ich anstatt Brille lieber eine Dioptrienscheibe verbauen,nur hat Esab es nicht für nötig befunden die Dioptriengläser an das größere Display des A60 Helms anzupassen sondern bietet nur einen Adapter dafür an.Damit hat man dann einen netten schwarzen Plastikrahmen im Sichtfeld und das größere Sichtfeld vom A60 bringt einem Nullkommanichts wenn die Dioptrienscheibe genauso groß ist wie beim A50 mit kleinerem Sichtfeld.Der Helm ist außerdem ziemlich schwer und man muss das Kopfband ziemlich zuknallen wenn man nicht will das der Helm fliegen geht,gerade dann wenn man den Helm nicht mit der Hand runterklappt sondern ihn mit Kopfnicken schließt.Zum Glück habe ich mir den Helm privat gekauft und ich schweiße Zuhause nur ab und zu mal etwas,also kann irgendwie damit leben.Müsste ich ihn beruflich nutzen würde ich das Teil meinem Chef vor die Füße schmeißen und sagen ich will was gescheites haben xD
