Product was good at the start then slowly decreased battery life so I moved the solar panel to the roof to get more sunlight. As I thought this was the problem. Leaving it charge for an entire day to only get 20-30min of run time before system and timer light all went red. Company said to trouble shoot as we did. Then told to send the product back.I explained the panel is on my snow roof and around the pond is frozen. Told wait till spring. Poor customer service.

At first this battery solution worked very well but after a couple weeks of use, the battery ceased to load. The system light stayed red and showed charging but after two days of direct sunlight on the solar panel with no devices in operation, it still had not loaded the battery. This was reported to the seller but I received only an email with advice inappropriate to the problem. Sad as it was a nice setup, briefly. Currently the solar panel is working directly to the pump. I would not advise bothering to buy the battery solution.Update: at the end of a long hot summer, the little pump with solar panel is still working effectively - attempts to load the battery with a direct loader indicates the battery itself is loaded, it is the electronics of the control which appears to be faulty. Still no response from the seller. I repeat my original summary - I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND the battery version - but pump and solar cell are very reliable.

Gut verpackt und komplett geliefert. Bedienungsanleitung gelesen, zusammen gebaut, eingesetzt und angeschlossen. Läuft wunderbar. Wir sind sehr zufrieden und alle Anleitungen sind in Deutsch. Alles prima. Danke

Die Lieferung ging sehr schnell und alles war super sicher verpackt. Anfangs war ich bißchen skeptisch was Solarteichfilter betrifft punkto Leistung aber ich würde überrascht. Die Pumpe läuft einwandfrei Tag und Nacht wenn man das will. Die Montage ist sehr einfach.Auch die Verarbeitung vom Material ist sehr gut. Für mich war es die beste Entscheidung, keine Stromkosten, Filterbox kann man günstig erneuern und ist einfach zu reinigen. Sehr gut finde ich auch das Wasserspiel sieht einfach toll aus und in der Nacht mit Beleuchtung noch dazu echt toll.

It's my first pond, so it's my first pump, so I can't really talk about it as I can't compare with anything.Also the pond is for duck and it seems to be difficult to manage.However, I can talk about the solar and how this things works (or not).I bought this 2 months ago, because my pond is too far from my house and it's difficult if not impossible to pass a cable, so this is the reason why I choose for a solution with a solar panel.As far as I know, a pump should run 24 hours a day. Any interruption is bad, and longer is the interruption worst it is.I installed the panel in a place in direct sun sight from 8 h AM to 6 h PM, which is 10 hours of sun per day.When the sun shine, it's ok, the panel can charge the battery and provide power to the pump, and then at night the battery take over until the next morningBut when there is some clouds, even not raining, just a cloudy day, it can't provide enough for both. So the pump use the battery mainly and at one moment in time, the battery is flat so everything stop.And the worst isn't that it stop !The worst is that it goes into "defect" state (system led become red), the pump stop , but the panel still charge (more or less) the battery ... but it never start again the pump !!When it's in "defect" , you must reset it by switching off and on the complete system and then the pump start againActually, at the morning I put the system in "solar" mode, meaning "priority to charge the battery". In cloudy day, the pump don't work or with a very low flow. Then it increase during the day, when the battery start to be full and/or the sun give more power.In the evening, I switch to "battery" mode, otherwise the system stop completely ("solar" mode without sun ...) and then it works during the night.If the day before, we had enough sun, it stand for the complete night until the next morning, otherwise it stop ... when ?? can't tell , and goes in "defect" mode.And we are in summer ... I'm already worried about the autumnI'm a little bit disappointed !!!The solar panel must be a little bit more powerful and the system should be able to recover automatically from a "defect"In fact, I could appreciate a mode which do automatically what I'm doing manually, mainly giving priority to the battery charge during the day, when the panel provide power, and switch to battery mode the rest of the time

Sicher verpackt, einfache und klare Anleitung, gut verarbeitete Komponenten, Akku vorgeladen, bei bewölktem Himmel aufgestellt, tut Dienst. Wenn die Anlage jetzt auch noch ausdauernd funktioniert, würde ich sie sehr empfehlen.
