I want to love this French press, but it doesn't hold much actual liquid for coffee and lets FAR too many grounds through into my cup. By the end of a cup of coffee I'm chewing grounds; not great.A pain to clean because of how convoluted the filters are.

After a year using the press I do like it and use it daily but a bit disappointed. Even though I have always hand washed the coffee maker the outside black coating has started to chip and does not look good, I wish I would have purchased a stainless steal one, also it can be hard to pull and push the cap if not careful will spill trying to pull the cap out.

Well made, but the coffee doesn’t pour very well and it’s inconvenient to clean, especially without just washing the grounds down the drain (which you’re not supposed to do). I’m not a connoisseur, but I didn’t notice better flavor over filtered pour over.

Plus side: The Espro makes great tasting coffee if you start with good beans. If preheated, it will hold a good drink temperature for an hour or more and decanting is not needed. Downside: Even with the fine mesh screen there is still a bit of fines in the brew. It is also hard to pour out the last cup as the grounds can block the basket. Putting a paper filter over the basket would probably solve these minor issues. Overall I'm glad I purchased this unit.

Tolles Gerät - Design und Verarbeitung ist super. Was jedoch das Wichtigste ist: Der Cafe - da sollte man nicht dran sparen, seine Bohne finden.Gutes Gerät - schlechte Bohne: schlechter Cafe.Gutes gerät - gute Bohne: guter/sehr guter Cafe.

After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase the ESPRO P7 French Press. I did this for several reasons:1. It's insulated stainless steel and not GLASS. This was important to us because while glass is pretty, it is also fragile and we would likely accidentally break a glass french press within months,2. The reusable double filtration system on this French Press practically eliminates any grinds ending up in your cup of coffee. The system is simple to clean and also highly effective.3. Dishwasher safe. After you brew, simply scrape out the grinds into the compost or trash bin and then give it a quick rinse and toss the carafe and plunger in the dishwasher.4. Size. This french press is large enough to make 32oz of coffee per brew. This allows enough for me and my wife to share. The insulated stainless keeps the brew warm long enough that we can each have a cup when we are ready in the morning.
