Well made but looks a bit smaller than it did on the sales page. Not put it out yet but when I get chance it will be put in place in the Garden

Bei mir hat sich keine Hummel eingenistet. Ich weiß, das die sensibel sind. Dennoch glaube ich, daß das Ding zu klein ist.

Ein Produkt das auf den ersten Eindruck sehr niedlich aussieht und seinen Zweck erfüllen wird. Mehr aber auch nicht. Der Haken geht nicht zu, da muss ich mir etwas anderes überlegen. Das Haus an sich ist schief und Kleberreste finden sich an der Front. Alles ist sehr unsauber gearbeitet und auch nicht mehr wert als das was ich bezahlt habe. Ich werde es nachbessern und das Holz lasieren. So lange sich die Hummeln freuen uns es nutzen dann war es das Geld wert.

Sauber aufgebaut (FSC zertifiziertes Holz) und sieht auch sonst gut aus. Muss noch etwas imprägniert werden, aber sonst eine klare Empfehlung!

Dieses Haus ist für Hummel fans ein schöner Anblick, es steht am haus auf steinen damit es keine Feuchtigkeit zieht.Mit dem Füll Material und der Motten klappe werden sich die kleinen Wohlfühlen. Wichtig ist die Klappe gegen motten die sollte auf jeden fall dazu bestellt werden

no takers for this beautiful and functional BB House. BUT I discovered that my backyard bumble bees already selected a nesting spot prior to setting this house out. They are under my kiddy pool that I use for a turtle sunning bin. I am going to relocate the house near the Natural Nest and see how it goes the rest of the season. This is only May and we have to go some months up here in New York.

Das Hummelhotel fällt manchmal ungenau aus, ich hatte Glück ( aber im Einzelhandel habe ich auch schon unpräzisere Exemplare von diesen Hummelhotels gesehen). Zweikammer-System, das man laut Fachinformation bereits im Februar ausstatten und aufstellen sollte (ich war da leider etwas zu spät) ! Es wirkt ein wenig klein, aber in der Natur beziehen die Hummeln ja auch keine Villa. Ich denke auch, dass man bei der Wahl der Innenauskleidungsmatetialien durchaus günstigere Materialien (Kleintier-/Nagerbedarf) wählen kann. Wenn die Hummeln sich Häuserritzen aussuchen, finden sie schließlich auch keinen Luxus vor. Da man es geschützt platzieren soll, wird es vermutlich eine lange Lebensdauer haben. Bleibt abzuwarten, ob Mieter einziehen ...

I would agree with some reviews, the top doesnt fit flush which is supposed to be important for bumble nests. However that said the one i had looked good, gaps were small and look sturdy. Very happy wife as given as xmas present.

Malgré un défaut de fabrication. Il est parfait pour nos petits amis les bourdons. Plus qu'à attendre leurs arrivés.

I ordered one of these because it is the only one on the market I could find with a sloped roof. The others are all flat.It arrived quickly (Amazon rocks) but the construction is less than great. The box is very solid but there is a 1/4 gap along the front of the box. Bee houses need to be sealed tightly or at least have screen over any ventilation holes to prevent ants and other insects from entering.The roof is difficult to close as one of the triangular roof corners are cut poorly. I can fix that easily enough but I should mention that I know another person who purchased this same house and hers is also badly formed. This seems to be the norm, not an exception.I emailed the manufacturer/distributor and their response is "I checked out all our bee houses and there is 1/4 inch gap on all of them so I'd assume that this will not stop them from making their home in the box."True the bees may move in, but if the vent holes on the side are screened to keep out ants...why leave the gap???It's not a bad house, but buyer beware you will need to tweak it before use.
