Bought to go with a 24v 400w transformer and DC motor. I didn't want to spend a fortune on buying a very expensive speed controller, this fits my needs both requirements and cost.It works as you would expect and there is very little to really complain about except for the over sized design and the very short cables supplied for the potentiometer and start / stop switch. On the plus side the switch and potentiometer are smooth with no sudden jumps when turning the RPM up or down. The display shows power (0 - 100) and is bright and visible from multiple angles.If you need longer cables it wouldn't be difficult to extend these cables or replace them altogether if you are comfortable with a soldering iron. Would I buy this again knowing it's minor faults? Yes, I probably would.

Powering 12v motor.Worked fine for about a minute. Then while turned off. It turned on 100%.by its self.Then would not turn off and no display.Only way to stop it was to dissconnect the battery.It will have to go back.
